It makes me incredibly happy that scrips aren't as shitty as they were in HW. I hated them so much before, now they're just another thing to collect that doesn't really stress me out with their very existence. It's a giant step forward.

Gated scrips were awful. One less thing I gotta worry about per week.

Plus Custom Deliveries is kinda the replacement for weekly scrip.

So here's the thing based on initial testing.

A win (~11:20) is about as much as it was before.
A fast win (~8min) is about 10% more than it was before.
A 3rd place loss (~12min) is about 50% less than it was before.

This doesn't make me want to stop doing it. I afk'd the last 3 matches and we won all of them. My contribution literally does not matter. Your move, Yoshida.

Also putting match duration in there is really stupid because that makes "close games" between all 3 teams functionally a waste of time. And this does nothing to stop people from going in for their Verity.

Square actually thinks that tanks are using i270 str gear because it's too hard to hold enmity in full vit, no you fuck faces tanks want to contribute high numbers of dps to make the shitty dps players feel bad that a tank is beating them.

There are capped weekly tomes coming for DoW/DoM jobs though?

Feels bad to go from white gear > dungeon gear > Ala Mhigan gear > Primal ex gear > Omega gear > new tomestone gear all within 2-3 weeks. Wish I could gear up some of my other jobs instead of feeling obligated to spend all those resources on 1 job for marginal upgrades.

I guess latest patch broke PS4 version even more. Lots of people getting the red disconnect symbol permanently on character and being randomly disconnected and unable to login.

Might be less to do with PS4 and the patch than with the DDOS attacks they announced right after maintenance last night.

And the worse is the paladin who took the tank buster move with no cooldown and sword oath up.

I mean i fucked up once or twice no one is perfect. But I had that I got judge for not having the win and people though I was asking for a carry while I was in the part who fucked up the least

Those DDoSers need to understand that attacking the servers is NOT going to get them the changes they want out of the game. It didn't work in FFXI(it didn't make SE stop from trying to get rid of the gilsellers) and it wont work in FFXIV.

@Ratatapa - If it's force duty completion(??), and you don't have the win, how were you able to join the PF? I don't ever bother with PF, and the whole UI looks confusing to me so.. Unfortunately for you, due to not having the win, you were made into an easy scape goat when the group failed. Made them feel good about their own fuck ups which they know were costly.

Confession stacks piss me off, as they are never on my party members when they might be helpful. Either the chance for getting one should be a lot higher than 20% or the duration should be a lot longer than 30 seconds. In its current state, they aren't consistent enough to be useful.
