FFXIV Random Complaint Thread II: DPS can't count to potato

Being a lazy fucker about Nexus makes me sad now the end stage is actually worthwhile. I was fed up of the game and only logged in to not shaft my coil static when the i110 stage was released. Now I feel shafted because the prospect of 75 Alex (I'm 38/75) + 2000 Lights + the final stage is just ridiculously daunting. I had hoped they would at least gradually ease the previous stages but seems not.

I've got very little chance of completing it before I get a 130 weapon but I feel bad because the rest of the DPS in my coil group will have the 125 version by next week and I'm still using HA Bow (I will get the next 120 drop at least).

Can't find competent group for Bahamut ._., even SCoB seems to difficult for most people.

Right now just trying to get T8/T9 Clear in DF and pray for the best... not working so well, always some off thing. Always just one terribad and in Coil you can't really carry stupid if they're an important role.

Having someone to call shit out makes such a gigantic difference with people not comfortable with the fight. If you can just get them all on TS/Mumble or whatever and call out elements in advance and stuff like "Look for A/first divebomb" just ahead of time it'll be 100x easier.

What the hell is wrong with the Qarn's HM zodiac item droprate? I've done it more than all the other dungeons combined and holy fuck, it doesn't drop. I've been going at it for three days already.

Having the same issue with Brayflox. I'd like to think the instances have different droprates but I've heard horror stories for quite a few of them. I am thinking I'll just get the 2.4 dungeons while capping poetics but the older ones need doing ASAP before the boat sails and the queues get horrendous.

Yeah... Idk. My worst to this point in 9 other dungeons has been 1/7. I've alread breached 12 attempts in qarn. It's not the worst thing ever but man that dungeon blows. The soldiery is the only saving grace.

Was either 1/3 or 1/4 there. That dungeon is pretty lame but as with any of the current expert-level dungeons, at least the soldiery pours in. Somebody in my FC was 0/22 when I went to bed last night but he got the drop at some point today.

I'm trying to farm coil 6 for secondary and third jobs that I don't play as often as my main, just want to get a few pieces for now until I can poetic tome them out, keep getting people that just can't handle it. People still getting wrecked from Blight, people that still mess up flower, people that join and say they haven't watched a video, and are new to the fight, asks the group to explain the fight to them.

- DPS who never ever LBs anything. Let's just keep the bars glowing so it can look pretty. Though this point applies everywhere I suppose.
- DPS who begins LBing when the central node is like at 10% (therefore making it pointless).
- People who insist on rushing into capture points with no heals. Actually had plenty of dps/tank parties onry yesterday, and most would follow me to capture outposts, but 1-2 knuckleheads always insist on feeding points to the other team instead.
- People who wear vastly undergeared armors to frontline e_e I get newbies and their artifact/amber/rubellites, but I've see some wickedly retarded gear choices (brass ring, i28 aetherial accessory, and oh so much more)
- Had a healer who complain they die too fast, yet refuse to wear +VIT accessory to boost survival rate.
- 30 min+ queues. Everyone please try frontline! It's really fun with friends even if you're not a pvp enthusiast.

There is always that random person in the middle.....I'm not sure if they are going for drone/node achievement or are just brain dead but there is always one.

-People who are content to just sit on A or C flag the entire game, let the LB drain because we aren't doing shit, and then wonder why we have no LB.
-Healers who go off on their fucking own the entire game. (There's a WHM on my server who is R45 with the full i110 set and does this every time, A**** X***).
-People who hit summons or tanks.
-DPS who hit whatever they want.
-People generally waking or unbinding shit.
-DOTON. FUCKING STOP IT.
-SHADOW FLARE. FUCKING STOP IT.
-FLAMING ARROW. SEE ABOVE.
-People who meatgrinder themselves going 1 by 1 to a flag instead of ninja'ing an outpost.
-PLD not using Cover
-People still going Marauder instead of Warrior (?)

Ground AoEs work well IMO. Not from a damage pov but noobs tend to run from them so you can place them to spread out a group or force movement. On SMN you can SC SF and stand in the middle of it. 9/10 players will leave you alone.
