When I got WAR, I missed Invigorate the most of the lost cross-class abilities. Heck, I still miss it, and I pester the Ninjas I play with for goad at every moment so I can spam more Overpower. I don't understand how people don't abuse this skill, it's the most fun you can have while tanking. When I started leveling GLA/PLD using Flash felt useless and horrible in comparison.
idk as a warrior I only overpower 2-4 times depending on what others are doing. If blm on ts tells me they're about to triple flare then I will put out the third or fourth. Otherwise I'm working towards SC. If berserk+bloodbath are up though I will spam the shit out of it though. Ninja makes it a different story too of course.
I wouldnt expect a new mrd/war (this is low level roulette after all) to even know what Goad is.
True but Overpower uses falls under an explicit category, you have 3 or more mobs. Until 1 of them drops, getting hate on all of them is priorityespecially if DPS + healer are doing their own thing because you're gonna lose hate fast.
My macro explicitly states "TP Refresh at <tank>" in party chart. Maybe refresh isn't clear enough. It's not obstructive either, as it's on a 3 min cooldown.

I wouldn't ever goad a war that only pull 1 pack at a time.

And if you Goad a WAR over another melee (assuming high enough level to have their AoEs) when applicable you are also real silly.

LB2 pops around 15%. Died at 6%, PGL LB'd after and boss died. Waste of 45 minutes.

I've run Amdapor Keep a few dozen times now for Zodiac.
Even though this dungeon has been in the game since 2013, even though the average taru SCH has more HP today than the average PLD in 2013 and the average DPS has at least 150% that, even though everyone has no problem blenderizing the rest of the dungeon, people still run from golem AoE and Imminent Catastrophe.
The extra 1000 damage is just 2hot2handle.
I did know the golem AOE was a joke, but is that really all Catastrophe hits for? I can't say I ever bothered to find out.
Catastrophe got hit with a hell of a nerfbat in 2.2. It used to be 2.5k-3k, but I've seen it hit for as little as 800.
That said, I'd run AK so many goddamn times before the patch that it's muscle memory at this point, and I don't want to get into the habit of ignoring mechanics.

Assuming by 'release' you mean return to the entrance? No, you don't get credit. Basically, whether or not you get credit is simply determined by you being on the hate list when it dies.
You dead when it dies? You have no hate, no credit.
You're outside the battlefield (either because you returned or just never entered)? You have no hate, no credit**.
You died, got raised and got back into the fray? You'll get credit.
**A bard might be an exception here and be able to get on the hate list with Foe Requiem (one of the few things I've seen go through the battlefield entrance block).
