Getting nearly done with Snowcloak then random DC and now I can't connect to the data center.
Are they getting DDOS'd again?

Solo DF Titan HM because bored/nexus lights/ALC desynth.
Both healers are new to the fight. They both also die to the first weight of the land after heart phase. I soloheal the rest of the fight on BLM.
And I'm not even mad that it happened, I'm mad that I only got one single commendation out of it. No one said a word, I doubt anyone besides the main tank even noticed and thought "Hey, how are we all still alive 3 minutes after both healers died?"
you are getting the wrong concept of MIP these days
only 10% of people think MIP is for "players who excel"
i expect all of them didnt vote at all or gave to peep who die
no one likes to acknowledge good players these days, so you got 0 votes, can take it as a compliment
In my experience, people just commend the tank by default. You have to do something pretty bad to not get them.
I stopped commending in trials because I rarely receive them myself. If a DPS does more DPS than me I'll commend but I almost never see that. I always get 1-3 in dungeons so I hand them out every time there. Problem with trials is they're so easy it's hard to tell if a player has performed better than everyone else, unless they do something beyond what's expected like solo heal Titan because the other healer fell off. In that case I'd commend.
As a side comment, the market on gardening items is taking a hammering. The price of Thavnarian Onions almost halved in the time it took my seeds to grow into onions. It makes more sense to sell the seeds now because they're worth more, problem is they rarely sell while onions sell super fast. It's not just onions plummeting either, same is true for other seeds. The market is brutal. I wouldn't bother with it but I feel the need to recoup the money I spent on my house.
If you're referring to the fact that you only use demolish every 3rd combo, I didn't really feel it worth specifying.
Over 20 Arum Vale runs, the light....is dimming...
Anyone else notice the Recouperate icon from PVP looks like Goatse?
What did I exaggerate about DRG and MNK's rotation other than not specifying proper use of Demolish?
The amount of mind numbingly stupid fucking people in SCoB is absolutely stunning. Like, stupid people who can't form even the most basic of cognitive patterns. I know I complained about this once before but sweet titties Turn 6 is impossible for some people to comprehend it seems, I wonder how they manage to even log in without assistance.
Its like... how hard is the yellow bulb mechanic? It can literally be done with two buttons. W and your right mouse. Thats all it requires. Its not even like its a time constraint, you get like 3-4 whole seconds before it vanishes and even then theres a little bit of leniency, yet this mechanic seems to confuse and baffle every DD who enters it.
... I really needed to vent after this shit I just went through. For the first time since I started FFXIV, I actually abandoned an instance mid duty, it was that bad. We never even saw a bee.
The point is the comparison between what you said about DRG and MNK compared to what you said about NIN. Like having alternate HT and Pleb for DRG gives you something to think about, alternate Demolish and PB combos gives MNK something to think about (aside from how to aggressively keep GL3 up). Of course, taking into account directionals and doing realistic DPS then MNK and DRG (well, MNK at least now) aren't that mindless considering NIN can stand in a spot and mash buttons provided the 1 directional attack they have isn't up.
But yeah no, only NIN needs to think about their "rotation" (Ifyoucanevencallitthat!).
I totally get you dude and we had to come up with a way to remove as many chance for errors as possible.
Using party LoS, we just have the people who struggle with devour - pretend they have devour. Basically, yellow target shows up and the whole party goes to tank side(normal party-style LoS) except for the Devour target AND everyone who struggles with it. When the yellow disappears, the target and the strugglers LoS through the boss. That way, the struggler doesn't have to make a decision on whether to move or not: if you see that Devour mark, you will ALWAYS do the same thing no matter who has it.
Obviously, this sounds completely unnecessary to most people as the goal should be to have raid awareness over each character. But really, once we implemented this, our stacks on Rafflesia dropped immensely lol.
Yah, I'd probably be a bit less confused if it was like, random-ish, but its not. Its a cycle. You have Tethers+No Bulb, then you have Tethers+Bulb, the entire fight... the mechanic is predictable almost down to the second.
But your method sounds like its definitely a "reflex training" habit, wonder if I could enforce that in DF ._.
Had a tank mt in party chat about needing people for T7...while we were IN t7 via DF. He then purposefully petri'd people and MPK'd, and a vote abandon that went through. I just want my healing coat. D:
You can also try triangle method though people still tend to fuck that up somehow.
Tank is the "top", party is "bottom left", devour bait is "bottom right"-ish. Problem is if bait is just winging it then they can clip everyone else on the edge of Devour so you have to assume they dont know what they're doing and move anyways.
Hell the worst way I see people fuck up LoS is that they just circle strafe around the front of Raff. Where will it end up facing? Fuck if I know.
