To go with my "Wtf tank" on Ifrit the other day, yesterday my roulette was Titan. Another burtgang paladin who had less HP in VIT gear than I did in Gloam, who insisted on fighting me for threat the entire time. He stood on me the entire time despite being just behind in threat until about 20% when I finally died because my connection decided to make an example of me when he dropped his Weight of the Land on me and the healer was slow.

I don't know why people insist you need VIT+Shield for stuff tankable in i55 gear.

Except now it isn't. BALANCE. Also, what is relatively uninterrupted? Because in every fight I'm certainly being interrupted and influenced by mechanics. Is it just T8? It's just T8 isn't it.

So what you're saying is you want SE to design more fights where MNK is the de-facto top DPS all the time every time, instead of just the most probable top DPS, on top of having some of the most vital utilities of any DPS next to BRD.

Not really a complaint but since there has been arguing over DPS and my curiosity is now peaked. How does the DPS rank and is there a place I can see the data?
I'm kind of curious as to X is top DPS in y conditions, else it falls to A unless b is happening in which case it's D, etc, etc...
Is MNK truly #1 DPS provided there's no worry of losing all their upkeep?

It's just more of an academic curiosity really.
I found http://sim.ffxivguild.net/ but it says it's a WIP. I was wondering if there is a place other than their own findings to illustrate the DPS comparison.

I'm actually curious to see how well DRG performs after the changes.

Naturally it's kind of hard to get a solid comparison after a big patch, depending on people's luck with coil drops there can simply be huge gaps in gear progression making direct comparisons harder to pin down.
