yea i seen that set long ago but if you look at it yourself, your relying heavily on coil pieces, which means if it doesnt drop for you, you not gotta buy ironworks with excessive sand/poetics?

So, I joined a Leviathan Ex party that was just going for the clear. I was bored, I could help carry someone for a Sol bonus. Open slots were Tank and Healer, and I'd rather never heal that fight again, so I joined a PLD. I volunteer to OT, as I've done it many many times and the other person tanking was apparently coerced into it so the DRG in the party didn't have to.

All goes swimmingly, first adds go down. We push phases and the second add pops. First thing the DRG does is Leg Sweep stun it. Reduces my stunlock to two stuns, so partywide hysteria goes off. I asked him not to do it again, he complains that I don't know how to stun the thing and that I was doing it wrong. Rest of the fight goes perfectly, until the final add. Same thing happens again, but this time we wipe of course.

I describe how we're supposed to do it, and ask him not to stun. Half the party (it was 4/8 an FC run) berates me that I'm doing it wrong. They say you're supposed to interrupt the casting, I tell them why that literally doesn't work. We go again, and the exact same things happen. I tell them again why we're failing, and for the DRG to just not use stun and we'll win. They disband and kick me.

...and then they sit there for 20 minutes trying to find another tank in the party finder.

If I want an alternative so I can not use 4star food then I'd switch out dreadwyrm bracelets for aug iron bracelets and use truffles for +7acc, -38crit, +6det, +15skill, -6vit.

Personally I'd rather dreadwyrm daggers not drop for a while. <.<; I picked the right time to let go of brd, the BIS was bad enough last patch losing all that crit; but now it's so bad I couldn't even get myself to sit down and bother looking at gear choices.

I went into it thinking it's one objective per book, then my horror as there was a bundle of them!!!!

I picked the right time to let go of brd, the BIS was bad enough last patch losing all that crit; but now it's so bad I couldn't even get myself to sit down and bother looking at gear choices.

There's no such thing as "best" in slot for BRD in 2.4, only "least worst".

This shit does get old very quickly though; definitely needs to be thrown in the trash with Heavensward. Maybe a semi-blind auction like XI's is better for price stability/minimalistic undercutting.

When in the Wolves Den, I look off to what appears to be Limsa in the distance, and I'm facing SE. According to the world map I should be facing NE.

SE is shit with directions. The entrance to my house is to the east. Once inside, the exit is to the south.

Every book is 100 enemies, 3 dungeons, 3 leves, 3 FATEs. 9 books. Strap the fuck in, it's going to get worse.

Doesn't ifrit hitting things automatically put you on the hate list? I figured that was the only requirement to get credit. What an odd thing to have happen.

If something aggros me and Ifrit attacks it, the mob name goes orange. Until I hit it with something, it doesn't turn red, meaning I claimed it thus I get credit. I thought the same as you, but the other day I went to take care of my nephew, and thought I could afk in front of one of the spawning points of one of the mobs I was after and be done with it by the time I returned, and, well... nope.

Yeh I thought it would have some variety that's all, like one book being purely fates and the other being enemies/dungeons. I only want something glowy! So I'll perservere until 110!

if the dungeon is pre HM's, ak wp even haukke I just go face pull the next room then bring it all over and start throwing bombs(blm). Surprisingly I have rarely died even when tanking half the pull. Some guys in my FC and I just did most the dungeons with no heals or tank just 4 dps so if the tank wants to be a bitch that's fine I can pull them.
