Getting Mei with Reinhardt charge is the most satisfying thing in the game.
Getting Mei with Reinhardt charge is the most satisfying thing in the game.
That too. Seriously anything to give Mei a hard time is a wonderful feeling.
On the other hand, we made an entire pre-made of 5 people rage quit with a team of all Meis. I felt so dirty yet so amused.
PTR changes are out in live, along with season 2 competitive.
new weekly brawl with the new map and no dupe heroes allowed, just like in the PTR!!
Oh shi- I didn't think they were until next week Tuesday.
Ha, played a game with SirScoots and then just now had literally the match of a lifetime on ana, we held the first point on hanamura, I shut down every single mcree ult, took on a winston solo like twice and outhealed our lucio.
.
My hatred of Mei is coming back...
i used to hate mei so much. until junkrat kept finding newer and more bullshit ways to kill me.
went 4-4 in placements tonight and every win had a good mei on the team. was really quite nice.
mei's pretty op imo now, ult is just ridiculous on koth
0-3-1 on placements so far. So many random bullshit junkrat deaths. Nothing tops though the popping out of a door to eat a reinhardt charge.
Did Brawl with friends to learn the new map. Enjoying the many avenues for attack. Point A is a bit chokey but I'll put that to the map being unfamiliar. Aware that there are paths to backstab the point, but mostly played support.
First point on Eichenwalde is very much a choke point. Can hold the small underpass with a Reinhardt and a couple decent DPS pretty easily. Most you have to watch for would be Genji/Reaper/Hanzo going over or Tracer blinking passed shield.
In those cases, your team should be able to focus them quickly, but that's about it. To get through, you really need to take out the Rein shield and push with something to clear the area. This could be Mei ult, Hanzo ult, or Rein ult.
I've held the attacking team back at that point several times. Yesterday included one match just like that. Blocked 5k damage as Rein while Mercy healed for 3k and that was 68% of damage taken. Got killed once by a Reaper ult and a Tracer got on point one time, but both died shortly after.
As a Mei, I enjoy all your salt. I like winning, but as soon as I can tell my Quick Play team has little chance, I'll just mess with the opposing team as much as I can. Or freeze a D.Va, then dont bother with right click, I just keep freezing them over and over :3
2/3 so far in my placement matches solo queue. The first one had an mlg hanzo who trolled in voice chat, and proceeded to lose the match for not contesting the payload in numbani. The other 2 matches were massive overkills on our end, getting potm with pharah and reaper. I need to team up with yall to get to try some good wins.
4-3-0 on placements so far. First loss was a guy that dropped, so we had to play 5 v 6. Second loss was just a bad game; we couldn't hold back the attack at all, people pushing too far forward. Last loss was 2x 3 stacks on the other team versus 6 randoms. 2 people were already ranked and we had people playing heroes they were bad at for some reason. GG Blizz with the 3 stacks versus randoms.
I recommend plays.tv
It's lightweight and you don't really have to record a bunch. It features a "rolling" record for however long the window you select, 30 seconds by default. Something awesome happend? Just mash ctrl f3 and it saves the last 30 seconds up to the point you mashed it. You can also customize it to just record your gameplay. I'm impressed by how little overhead it uses to record at 1080p.
