Yeah you need to be able to hit your shots, but if the Ana uses their cooldowns well they're great. I've played AGAINST some really good Ana's that would hit sleep on charges or just after ult when I was on Rein, sleeping me with nano boost from our own Ana, grenading our team against Zeny ult, etc. Unfortunately the good ones always seem to be on the other team.

EDIT: Anyone watched Zupperman? His aim is fucking insane. He destroys with Hanzo and McCree. I know he's a pro on some team, but he must be one of the best worldwide. I'm more impressed with him than Seagull, Mendo, Graceful, Taimou, or any of those guys.

So I'm starting to get better with Winston in terms of landing on someone, but still lousy at fight or flight. And good YTers/Streamers/etc. that play Winston?

I know I have plenty of room to improve, I'm not a great player and my aim could use a lot of improvement, and Im looking at my own mistakes and try to work on them when I lose a match... but the more I fall down my comp. rank the more I realize that I'm at the complete whim my team, especially the DPS/Attackers. There is nothing I can do to carry a team that refuses to communicate with eachother or combo their ults or swap to counter or swap to dumb shit. Like say, Why do people fucking switch to Tracer on the final stretch of defense? Getting to the point means FUCKING NOTHING now that they've adjusted the Overtime counter, you're essentially fucking us by speeding out there and dying in 0.3 seconds and resetting the counter to tick down twice as fast.

I know I'm not good enough for 3k+ Tiers, but I know I can be 2500 tier :\, and yet I can't crawl out of this dump because no one wants to heal and the DPS I'm always stuck with couldn't kill a Mercy in a 1v2 with a support.

Had an Idiot on Soldier who actually spoke to complain about not being healed when he used his Ult (He used the Ult, I was healing the Tank, turned to cure him before his fucking Voice line finished and he was dead, had the balls to complain). I didn't even talk shit, Told him sorry I was healing the Tank since he was in line of fire and I'll make sure he didn't die next time, to let me know when his Ult is up and I'll stick to him like glue. What happened next you say? He never spoke again, blew his ult (and usually I still cured him as I could), but never fucking communicated his ult a single time after that even though i was trying to work with him so we could Combo (Mercy Power boost).

These are the types of idiots I deal with. Will open mic to complain about dying in 0.4 seconds, but won't actually communicate with the team otherwise.

I really wish Blocking people actually worked.

I feel your pain, Karbuncle, I'd love to get better on attackers myself, but since everyone and their grandma wants to play as one I'm forced to tank (which I have no clue if I'm contributing anything) or support.

I think below a certain ranking (and I'm guessing low gold or below), it doesn't matter too much about going the 2-2-2 comp. I say fuck it and go 4-1-1 dps heavy and playing comfort heroes. Or play Zeny as the 2nd support and have some dps contribution.

If there is any minute improvement you can do in the lower skill levels, it's being patient when things go wrong and your team experiences a near team wipe. I spam "Group Up" consistently when I see this and wait for everyone, no matter what role I am. Once you get 2 or 3 with you, then move out. If that xXxGenjixXx doesn't wait when you spam Group Up and flies past you, well, know you're being a better team player. Focus on your mechanics, and eventually you will climb.

ELO hell is real and Bliz should just normalize scores across teams. Yeah, sometimes a bad player on a good team will get a good ranking, but it will normalize out a lot quicker than the current system which rewards soloers.

I pretty much have given up on rank, and almost ow overall since all my friends who i normally group with went to play WoW. Getting out of ELO hell with my luck will prolly never happen.

The problem there is that the 1st Support sees the team now has another healer and changes to a DPS or something stupid.

I feel like the only time I ever get to play DPS is if I go to Quick Play where I can get away with not caring how the team does. I know I'm terrible at them simply because I never play them for the reason you mentioned.

Games last night:

Solo Queue:

1 Tank, 1 Healer, 4 DPS comp for Dorado attack. I got stuck as the healer but somehow we ended up winning.

Teamed with a team of 3 and 2 other solo players on Lijiang. 5/6 of us are in voice chat, 4/6 with mics. I wait to pick my char as I usually do. 5/6 picked and guess what we don't have. A healer. One of the other solos ends up picking Lucio before the match starts and we win. Next round Lucio changes to Widowmaker. Great, so now I'm back to solo healer and we have a piece of shit hero on our team. To make things better the asshole spams "I Need Healing" when I'm busy healing more important characters. This continued throughout the rest of the match even when they changed characters. Pretty sure he was the one not in chat since at one point I told him to "shut the fuck up" and that Widowmaker wasn't a priority for me to heal. We ended up losing 2-3 because everyone cares more about their DPS then playing as a team.

Teamed with a friend and paired with a team of 4 against a team of 6 on Volskaya Attack. We go to Team Chat, Team of 4 isn't there. I was one of the tanks and they never stayed with me or my friend. I tell my friend that we should instalock DPS if they're not going to communicate with us. Ended up working out much better, but the other team still won because they had more communication, not because they were a better team.

And in another first, I actually thanked a Hanzo for being a murder machine. Also helped I was Mercy damage boosting him and instilling all my confidence he would nail his shots.

Bastion in general makes me sad. So often I see teams of Bastion/Hanzo with not a Rein in sight. The worst is Bastions who play like they're playing Soldier. If you run out and keep dieing, maybe your grand strategy isn't working.

3 attackers, 2 defense, and me as support on Route 66 and got rolled hard as hell.

Can I get a team that doesn't eat paint chips? This is why I'd kill for for an alternate QP mode with competitive rules.

Finally got to try out 3 Tanks, 2 Support, 1 DPS on Eichenwalde attack yesterday and we steamrolled the other team all the way to the end.

In another game no one wanted to go healer so I got stuck changing to healer because I actually want to win.

The autism when someone plays hanzo/bastion/junkrat all game when it's obvious to everyone else it's a bad pick for the map and they say nothing and never change all game and you lose because of them.

Fuck those people.
