1v1s are a lot of fun. I thought 3v3s would be easy wins if you ply healer, buy I ended up doing gold damage in a few matches as Zenyatta. My team just didn't engage or they were just running in circles.

Most 1v1s I've had are very civil in chat too. Nice change of pace.

In 1v1 they either entirely ignore me or full on engage in friendly banter and "Holy shit!"s. I've yet to see a single salty in it at all, even when I get insanely lucky Headshots or something. they usually just go "RIP"

Its insanely refreshing, and just downright enjoyable even when I got steamrolled 5/0 which happened once.

The worst part though? No "Boop!" emote/intro...

No trademark skull mask skin... (no, that one skin isn't it). Tron skin is ok. Meh otherwise.

I had one guy beat me as Genji in the first round and he went "gg im gonna 5-0 you scrub". So I spent the rest of the rounds hiding for timeouts and he quit out lol

I like the 1v1s because I actually get to play heroes I never get to play. I'm almost always Rein or support. Now I get to play some of the others.

I wish you could track the 1v1 stats, though. I didn't actually count, but I had really good winning streaks last night. Won 10 or so, lost 3 that I can remember.

I don't know if I can enjoy 1v1's I have always had a pet peeve against mirror matches in any game for some reason, makes me play not as well...

It really boils down to who outplays who, i admit rein v rein is hilarious when you pin them as they peek out of a corner. But bastion v bastion and torb v torb is just rip. Tbh as bastion it shows how many people are not as mobile with him, strafe jump+transform actually surprises them.

I think I've lost every Bastion pairing because the opponent just sits in one place and I end up going to find them rather than draw. I want to play and get it over with, not run around for 20 minutes trying to find you.

I just tried the 1v1 for shiggles. It was super stacked in my favor. First round I got Pharah who I'm decent at. Second round I got D.Va who is my second most played. Third I got Zarya who is my most played. Fourth round was Genji who I'm garbage at, but the person I was playing left the match as soon as the round started.

I've been playing 6v6 Random Hero's in Competitive, and so far the only two Hero's i've gone full game without dying on (Both on Hybrid maps, Hollywood and King's row) were D.va......... and Attack Symettra.

D.va's adjustments are really nice, makes her feel more reliable to use... In live when I play her I feel like i get shredded by any DPS in seconds... her Mech really is just tissue paper to any decent DPS... on PTR, I feel like if my Aim is good enough, I can out-live a DPS on a 1v1, which is nice.
