Finished my placement games, after being in the upper end of gold after placement in the first two seasons, I'm right in the middle of Silver this season. I healed in 9/10 placements this time, probably screwed me.

I mainly play on my main. I've seen Mal on a few times. I just haven't been on much lately due to work. I have the next few days off though so I should be around quite a bit.

I usually have my main logged in when I'm on my alt, but my alt's name is WhatDreamsMeiCom if you want to add it. I didn't notice the name was too long until after I already made it. It triggers me every time I see it, so I guess it fits with the Mei theme. lol

Anyone else getting quick play games where people just run around spamming hello to each other? Had 2 separate games tonight with different people where they all just waved and sat together on the point contesting it. Once it went to OT, the other team stood up and wiped the others. For a bit I was still actually playing and had apparently been deemed kill on sight or something. Such a waste of time and I don't get the point of it.

Didn't have that, but I joined an Oasis midgame with people spamming the objective voice line which was enough to make me quit.

This is all I do when I play the game, spam hello, spam understood, spam protect/attack objective, spam move/stop the payload. But I do this in competitive because not wasting my time in quick play.

I'm slowly climbing my way to Gold from my mid Silver placement this season. I rarely play comp outside of placements so getting a few extra points toward my Roadhog gold gun + gold points at end of season will go a long way. So far, I've been grouped with or played against 3 times as many plat players as Silver players. If I'm Silver I thought I should mainly be playing with other Silvers with a gold thrown in here or there. But instead the majority of my games are 8-10 Gold players, 1-3 plat, and me at Silver. Is this happening to other people at Silver?

The closer you get to the next tier, the more you'll see people from that tier.

And then you get the people teaming with low tier people to get easier matches. My team got paired up against another team that had 2 Diamonds and a Gold teamed together. They also had another Diamond (3 total) and we only had 1 (total). Of course we're not going to win that match (and we got paired against them again after they stomped us).
