I think my favorite QP was someone bitching at me for holding my ult since...

-People sat around with their thumb up their ass at the choke instead of pushing and couldn't deal with a Bastion/Rein combo
-Were all over the fucking place making it impossible to coordinate.

I doubt anyone goes to quickplay other than to practice and/or play new/fun Hero's and try to "carry" or get good. So a lot of DPS heros should basically be expected, there's no real solution to practicing Heros effectively and even QP doesn't solve that, but at least it helps get experience on the character against something other than bots.

You will generally find no serious players there, of if you do, i promise you very few care enough to swap Heros and just want to get practice in on a character they want to improve with. I haven't touched QP in months.

Basically, OW doesn't have a lot of solutions to practicing heros in effective combat, It'd be nice if there were tag filters for custom games so you could find serious competitive games for practice.

This. Part of me is also thinking of joining a Discord server like Your Overwatch/Unit Lost advertise just so I can practice through scrims or something.

I"d love to play Ana to get better, but QP is nothing but stress due to all the dumbasses. Nobody protects you so you get flanked, they make it hard to heal since they're all over, and since they don't coordinate and too pussy to push nano is just a waste.

The playerbase is awful in solo-Q, one of the worst community's i've ever witnessed.

What I'm surprised at is that people rarely ever ask me to not play Orisa. I presume it's "Well fuck, at least we have a shield.", mostly it happens when the team is getting devistated. So the community somewhat accepts her, we'll see how that goes. But Hanzo needs some kind of change, Sombra definitely does (honestly 90% of the playerbase wont use voice coms, sombra is awesome if a team plays together, but... yeah) and something about Pharah because it really is a "who's team can kill Pharah more reliably" thing. If a large portion of your playerbase can't deal with her, then I think she requires some small nerf. The last buff she got increased splash damage range I believe + she could stay in the air longer.

Hanzo, honestly, if they made Sonic Arrow have a much lower cooldown, but say, a shorter effective time, he could be much more of a team player, rather than hopefully revealing something every 20 seconds.

I'll tell you one thing. Orisa is a GOAT when against a fuckin nab squad of genji, hanzo, widow DPS. Not a single motherfucker at all interested in breaking her barrier. Can't tell you how often I'm a tank or support with DPS that couldn't care less about her barrier always being up.;

Random question, but has anything changed in the past month which increased CPU/RAM usage significantly? I tried recording with OBS last night and my framerate would lock up constantly while in game and when I noticed my processes my CPU usage was spiking to 100% and my memory exceeded 2,000,000

Kinda felt the same thing recently when trying to use the game with discord, makes no sense. I was just fine with 16gb ram.

Edit, seems like there's a frame perfect genji bug that gives him infinite dragonblade. How the fuck, blizz?

Glad it's not just me. I haven't experienced any FPS drops (maybe since I locked it at 60?) but I do find it funny that while I never changed my any graphic/recording settings my framerate pretty much dies now whenever I attempt recording on OBS.

I think a few weeks ago I noticed some rendering issues/FPS drops. I usually have twitch on a chrome browser running in the background for some white noise. Lately it has been slowing my render times by a fair margin. I had one time I was playing CTF with friends and for the first 3 minutes while playing Zeny, no characters rendered, only arrows pointing at my allies. I also blindly aimed where my discord orb landed when it did land. Went away after I closed my web browsers.

And somehow I got PotG while under that effect. I had no idea wtf I was doing besides healing arrows and blindly firing into an area while mashing disco orb.

I run mine on the lowest settings and I can occasionally get FPS lag when on a 6 on 6 team fight in a small area. Not often though.

I need a better computer.
