yeah i tried out my friend's copy of the PS4 version last night and i can see why torb is so much better there. i had to max the aim sensitivity and it still felt too slow at times, and i don't even jack mine super high on PC

Thank god for the Torb nerf; please roll out McCree nerf as well though. WM doesn't really bother me that much unless I'm Zen.
Zenyatta? More like Zeñata.
I'll see myself out.
btw sorry for the missed invite last night Wulf. I just fell asleep early with console on lol
Random Mercy moment I had the other night. Ignore my awful spaz aim
e: new personal rule in solo queue. If some dumbass spams "I need healing" while actively avoiding me, witnessing me die, or etc other reason I'm just switching to Soldier. After a few incidents today (Rein at me right as I'm respawning with him like 5 feet outside of spawn, and Tracer hiding indoors on Anubis waiting for me to find her) I'm just done with that nonsense.
On the note of balancing, have they ever said anything about fixing Anubis so there's more than just a gigantic choke point at the start of the map for attacking?
Anubis is a shit map but not at all insurmountable if people communicate and switch classes as needed. Two junkrats followed by flankers coming in from both sides can absolutely ruin defenders.
[Edit you said start not end]
Open with Winston, D.Va as Pharah. That gives you a way to make short work of Torb and Sym's turrets.
Or a full reaper team because that happened one game.
Only two alternatives to that choke are basically gofastasfuck to the house on the right, or teleport in some way (Reaper, Tracer, or just be quick) into the left side house right at the choke and come at them from the bridge overlooking the choke. I've rarely seen a team defend that side lane ever. There might even be somewhere were like Winston, Pharah, and maybe Genji/Hanzo can go up on that side. I know there's a high window in that room with the health pack just before the bridge that you can use to get behind them.
Bleh that sucks. Had a match last night against a "LOLOL GIT GUD" group that shut us donb with a Bastion/Reinhardt combo, Mei blocking flanks, spamrat, and Widow picking us off.
There is a side door up high for fliers/jumpers to get to. Maybe Mei too? And a main door. I think Anubis is harder because it's so open and everyone is right in the middle when trying to get through. Hanamura you can try to take better angles at the door and the side door is far enough away you need to split attention.
Even if you try to go over the Anubis point you're still dead center of the enemy's sight. With Hanamura you can also charge through to the first point as Reinhart to draw enemy attention. Anubis you'd go like 10 feet and hit the wall of the elevated platform.
anubis has more vertical entry and two rooms on either side for teleporters. Capturing A on Anubis has always felt way easier to me
I've never been shut down on Hanamura, but I have on Anubis. That's really all I'm going on.
Anubis A was worse pre-Widow nerf. She could hold the archway almost by herself without too much of a threat of retaliation. It's not terrible to attack. Bring enough meat to get through the first choke and load either hard left/right. And then wait for an overreaction and push back the opposite direction. Course if you're up against Mei and Junkrat defending, yea that's gonna be a lot harder to punch through. At that point, you go vertical. Same thing you do on Hanamura A, if they load the arch too much, go up with D.Va and mobile offensive heroes. Course if Bastion is an asshole and covering that hole, well yea then we got problems (Hence D.Va push to shield the damage)
Those archways are only a problem if your team feels it necessary to wipe the entire team from the other side before taking a step through. It is easy picking for flanks with those doorways so close, and any of the mobile tanks can immediately reach the point with their jumps.
It's the second points that make those maps difficult because the spawn is so close. It's basically team kill or nothing, which isn't really the case when there's a payload (you only need 1 second of alone time rather than the collective cap time).
Had a team use a really dickish strat on Hanamura B tonight. 4x D. Va, Reinhardt, and Mei. D. Vas stayed at range and built their ultimate. Once all 4 were up, they charged in and systematically used them spaced apart. Rein and Mei just stood on the point, ice walling a side behind the point so we couldn't easily fire at them with Rein keeping his barrier up. The overzealous randoms on my team charged in to death or stood in range of the self destructs like morons. They capped it easily and I really don't know what could of been done to stop it. Self Destruct is just such a bitch of a control ulti.
self destruct easily countered by icewall
Does Masteroverwatch have an option/filter to see highest ever on a character, like most healing ever by a Soldier: 76?
Competitive mode released today for PC. XBone and PS4 get it next week.
