Patch just hit console wooo...and apparently if anyone plays Ana and causes ANY damage, the entire game crashes on Xbox.

Ana is fun to play if you actually remember you're a support class. Feel like it's easier to snipe with her too although that's more because you don't really have to aim for a particular spot and you don't have to charge your shot. Definitely needs to be protected though because she's so fragile

FWIW I heard somewhere for Ana that unscoped is projectile but scoped is hitscan. Although I believe the unscoped's travel speed is generally fast enough for it to not matter too much.

I think I'm going to be in a "Fuck Ana" mode for awhile. Seems like every time I get one on my team they're a complete waste of a slot. I should not be getting gold on healing as 76 when I only healed 750.

Holy fuck this. People pick her immediately after entering a match and they're fucking terrible.

Had a KOTH yesterday on QP; Ana, Torb, Zarya, Reaper, Sym, me on Lucio. Luckily it was QP cause I left after 2 minutes. Torb was making turrets near spawn, SYm did nothing, and Ana was always off to the side of the map alone getting picked off. Wasn't even in range to heal anyone; they were on right side of Nepal (one with the house in the middle) while myself, Zarya, and Reaper were attacking from the left side because the opposing team was swarming right side.

Think I had 1-2 wins yesterday in 6-8 games. One guy said exactly what I felt after an Anubis loss. "3 Ana no heals"

I definitely believe this. It's got just enough delay between shot and hit to fuck with my aiming. I thought I must just be barely missing shots, but switching to McCree my accuracy felt normal.

Scoreboard would lead to shitflinging and dick measuring. The only score that matters is the W/L. The side-effect pf blizzard making quickplay W/L readily available in stats is in my opinion a detriment to the game. People get really fucking salty about losing and winners sometimes get shitty at losers.
I wish they had dominatinaton and revenge mechanics though. That, I think, would force counter-picking.

About lost my shit internally earlier. Watched a Reinhardt spin in a circle with his shield trying to "block" a solo Genji ult used on only him.

I've resolved that there's no way I can play Ana and while her ult can do some crazy things to other ults I dunno if she's even that great. She seems kind of "balanced" in a roster full of "powerful" characters. Kind of the same way I think some feel about Symmetra.

It's all a matter of who you ult. Not just the character, but the actual player. A good Genji goes from a pain in the ass to catch to practically impossible and doesn't even need to be in Dragonblade to wreck teams (I think 2 shurikens + shift kills at 200hp with ult?), which means more resets, which means even more impossible to catch. 76/Roadhog/Zarya with ults also just turn into murder machines. Reinhardt is also really good in theory but I've never gotten one that makes decent use of it.

Also the sleep dart is fucking BROKEN with good coordination (i.e. people actually letting it run its full duration instead of instantly shooting them again). Catch a tank with it, let them keep sleeping while you wipe out the rest of their team, then have an easy gangbang on them once they wake up.

I agree. It's crazy seeing the things players like Wulf can do with him.

I tried out Zenyatta in QP today and felt comfortable enough to use him in competitive and it ended up working out well. So that gives me another character I feel comfortable with. Also managed to go something like 8-0 going from 55 to 58. Then I hit a losing streak and am back down to 55. During that streak I ran into my first troll/asshole. Doing KotH and the guy goes Mei and just sits there blocking us off the entire game.

I've gotten to the point I can reliably gold medal over ally Mercy or Zeny as Ana (Lucio benefits a lot from your nades which makes him a great partner). I've been able to solo heal Ana fairly well, but requires some coordination as opposed to the others.

Had to deal with a troll in 4 competitive matches in a row. He purposely sat in spawn and said he'll keep doing it again if he saw us. Surprised he was never on the enemy team once.

It's getting hard not to drop competitive again. Like, nothing makes me saltier than getting four golds and still losing. UNLESS I GET FIVE FUCKING GOLDS ON A LOSING TEAM! I can't solo the other team!

Been enjoying the /hidechat command lately for Competitive. Go as Ana to back up the other healer. Teammate Zarya asks for a real healer. I end up being Gold in healing and Silver in eliminations. He blames the Mercy for not being good for that (she did fine). Probably will just make /hidechat a standard. Least the Zeny healer the game after was very nice and happy for me as Ana.

I'm happy to have an Ana on the team as long as they aren't the only healer. The shit Ana's outweigh the good Ana's by such a large margin.

The ending to a crazy match Malithar, Wulfgang and I had last week. One of the most satisfying wins I've ever had considering how hard we had to work for it.
