Eh, Winston is effective against Genji, but not necessarily a hard counter given his mobility and Winston's low DPS. You also lose Winston's primary purpose of disrupting the opposing team's backline when he is instead chasing a ninja around his own backline. Lastly, good teams will pair a Reaper with Genji to rout Winston. Mei doesn't work either given dash escape range. Roadhog is likely the best imo, but you end up gambling with the shotgun blast since a Genji holding reflect post-hook can sometimes get it up before the hook follow-up.

Keep in mind we're talking about Seagull-lite Genjis, not QP derpjis.

Ana fire rate increased by 20% and mag size increased from 8 to 10. McCree primary fire damage falloff range reduced by 10 meters and FTH rate of fire increased by 15%. Fine with both.

This I'm cool with. McCree is fun, but I'll admit he was pretty much a pseudo sniper with that range buff.

Yeah they made his damage falloff ridiculous. Still somewhat high though IMO.

He needed that range buff I think. His fall off was bad; and with the FTH nerf he was really vulnerable up close and didn;t do too much from afar either. The range on the buff was definitely too much, but now it should level out a bit.

I played around with Hanzo on QP yesterday because I wanted to learn someone new. Did decent with him, usually just silver Elims though; two POTGs.

Ended up playing more games and getting 3+ golds and 4+ medals every game and still losing miserably. Annoying when you can only carry so hard. One game on Volskaya I had gold elims with 5 on Reaper and we didn't even cap first point. It was fucking terrible. Nobody was coordinated at all.

Ran a 6-man party earlier with an avg level of 61; matched against a team with an avg of 74, including a rank 82 Genji-of-doom. Played Mercy; turned off the PS4 immediately after that game. Guy must have killed me 12 times. There's just nothing you can fucking do.

Have been oscillating between 61 and 62 for a couple nights. Doubt I climb much higher than mid-60s; some of these guys are just really damn good.

I can't aim with Zenyatta for the life of me. Lucio too a bit but I can kind of understand his shot speed. Zen's doesn't make any sense to me. I feel like hits are totally random. Which is a shame because I like his ult and the idea of hitting people with discord. I just can't do anything about it. Feel like I'd be better off with Ana or Mercy.

Salty night. Had one game where I was playing with 2 new people on my team that were probably playing on controllers. There was a moment where a 76 stopped dead in his tracks, contemplated existence, then realized 3 seconds later a Mei was behind him freezing him and reacted by panic ulting and instantly dying. I don't even know ugh.

played with a gold gun zarya last night. we thumped those mofos. It was only the second golden gun i've seen since competitive rolled out. Can only imagine the amount of losses someone has taken to get 300 wins and only be mid 50s.

Probably a 50-52% win rate, so at least 280 losses. Win some lose some oh god he's stuck in the proverbial ELO HELL/MMR TRENCH.

at close range don't lead your target at all. at medium range you can lead very slightly. personally i don't actively think about leading as i just shoot on target and correct my tracking each successive shot because they come out pretty quickly and you only need very slight adjustments.

Absolutely. The people that actually want to play are already higher ranks.

Ty and I played a couple QPs last night and then two Comps. Got almost a whole level from the first comp match; lost more than what I gained after losing the second.

Our team wasn't terrible, really, we just didn't seem to be able to get it together. Even when I tried to coordinate my Zarya ult with the Genji it just didn't happen. Didn't get any calls from Genji after his 94% call out, even over voice chat.
