    Just to update, since we finally got Tal a Tathlum (after something like 120 kills), we maxed out at 3m30s. malaise acumen focus torpor from geos, (Atonement) > Mountainbuster > Predclaw + double MB Aero 4/5+3 takes off about 20% every time. If my GEO was geared better, that could probably be 25-30% every SC. Release avatars and resummon if they wind up tanking after a SC, you want to be pushing out SC every time BP timers are up.

    The most annoying part of the Draw in was the partial/total hate reset.
    I think Fluid Spread resets enmity only when used after a draw in.
    But then again I haven't fought Garbage Gel again after the patch so I'm not sure how much it changed.

    Which strategy/setup did you use for the Vampyr?
    This was after they removed draw-in. Fluid Spread still resets hate (did it PLD BLU BLM, and GEO Trusts cause anything else gets 1 hit KO'd) and anytime it did it, PLD and BLU would lose hate and it'd go right after the BLM. My PLD is extremely well geared and Provoke/Flash would be barely enough, and after a second one, forget it. Sentinel and such after is necessary. Ochain fight, and his Digest is brutal. You might be ok with Aegis, but it was never an issue, just keep yourself healed. Was more worried about the 1500 damage Fluid Spreads, so I wanted Ochain. We got fed up with the BLM constantly dying (she'd have blink/stoneskin and -dmg sets but would still get wrecked cause it's a SAM and will do Fluid Toss and such 3 times in a row) so had her change to /NIN and stand on me to nuke, never had problems after. Just make darkness, nuke ice and call it a day. Provoke/Flash right after Fluid Spread.

    Haven't fought the Vampyr yet. Only others I've fought so far were the Colibri and the Tonberry. Colibri is just a bitch, but easily murdered with BSTs. The thing has really odd hate mechanics, and even a RNG decoying me, she'd pull hate or I'd Cover her and the thing would just behave REALLY weird like it was trying to inch forward past me to hit her but never did. Seems to share hate with the Mamool and Pecking Flurry HURTS. Aegis fight this cause of Firespit.

    Tonberry, our method was PLD GEO SCH BST RUN. Vex/Attunement, Regen V, Phalanx and whatever the RUN's magic defense AoE buff is. Thing has low evasion/defense, CDC on PLD was doing 3700ish and taking...5-6% off? BST just murders it. Suggest you have a PLD pop and wait till he summons elementals, THEN engage and fight. About 3-4 minutes a fight, just rush and have the ability to survive Astral Flow (SMN+BRD would help but didn't have the job combo available).

    Tried Vidompire yesterday for about. I dunno, slightly less than 20 fights.
    We tried different setups with the same people:

    First
    1x PLD
    2x BLU
    1x ddBRD
    1x WHM
    1x RDM

    Second
    1x PLD
    2x BLU
    2x GEO
    1x WHM

    Third
    1x PLD
    1x BLU
    3x GEO
    1x WHM

    PLD was using Ochain, think he was trying his best to swap to Aegis during nukes.
    BRD songs were annoying to keep up, and he was absorbing them, among other buffs.
    Elegy, Ice Threnody, Finale, Nocturne and Requiem all seemed to work pretty fine.
    Even with focus he seemed very resistant to magic.
    The geos used Vex, Attunement, Precision, Fury, took turns in entrusting Indi-haste.
    When we added a third geo they were using torpor and frailty too I think?

    Vidompire isn't insanely evasive, but he's not squishy either. Probably "average" for a level 128 nm, not sure.
    Dispel was getting resisted often without focus up.
    For some reason I could stick Distract1 and Paralyze quite easily as GEO/RDM, and my debuff set is nothing special.
    Nukes were doing quite shit even on MB. But I only tried Fire and Thunder I think and only a few casts. I think it's been said he swaps the element of magic he uses and hence his elemental weakness? That might have been the cause. Or maybe he just has a very high amount of MDB/MDT.
    Immune to Gravity and Bind.

    Some fights would go very fast and he was dying fast.
    Some other fights we struggled and the PLD suddenly died for no appearent reason due to very high damage (maybe we didn't dispel something important, I don't know)
    Some other times he was just casting a ga spell immediately followed by that damaging aoe TP move, and that was really dangerous.

    Granted that there was a high amount of dual/tri boxing, I found the fight pretty random and annoying compared to all the other Unity NMs I've fought so far.
    Maybe we just needed a different setup, not sure. We said next time we want to try with PLD+Healer+Petjobs+buffer.

    anyone tried the new unity yet? specifically the behemoth, would like to get some idea of what its like and spam a load through gain exp RoE

    Tried Behemoth and Fafnir 135. Behemoth just wouldnt take much dmg from magic or physical, Fafnir handed our ass by killing our 2 PLDs. These things are vicious. Dont expect to Pug them any time soon till other ppl delevopled strats or found out some tricks.

    Yeah pretty much. These rly have a feel of old HNM to them when noone had a clue what to do and was weak.

    Vermillion Fishfly UNM (125)

    There are 10 of them lol, they open with Hastega and they cast slowga and other debuffs. They ws at the same time, cursed sphere etc. I think I saw a perfect dodge somewhere too.

    What killed the plds? Like high breath dmg or bad physical while terrored etc?

    They use a random TP move together each time one is killed. Multi Cursed Sphere can hurt if the PLD isn't using Aegis.

    Volatile Cluster
    Self-Destruct does high damage (like 3~4k dmg, one did 1200 on Aegis PLD) and won't kill it even if there is only one Cluster left. Powerful Blaze Spikes. Can be stunned.

    Grand Grenade
    Increases in size/power as the fight progresses. Casts Fire VI, Firaga V, Enfire.

    Sovereign Behemoth
    Pretty weak offensively at start, becomes stronger the more it uses Howl. Thunderbolt and Meteor start doing over 1k after several Howl TP moves. Proccing !! white seems to reset its power. We melee zerged it with SPs etc.

    Hidhaegg
    Can get a powerful add effect for 300~500 (dark based?) dmg, not sure what trigger it. Casts Comet. We melee zerged it too.

    Tolba
    Get Auto-Regen and uses Boost multiple times when inside its shell. Drawn in everyone then unleash a 3k Aqua/Earth Breath (power is maybe related to the number of Boost). Tortoise Song removes 3 buffs. Casts Stone VI, Water VI, Thunder VI, Stonega V. Killed it with a manaburn setup, Ice MBs were effective obviously.

    Sounds like a RUN tank is the way to go on at least some of those.

    Yeah stood "on feet" like old times, still got breath in the face for 2300

    Could you please share what your setup was for the behemoth? Seemed ridiculously evasive, we had brd geo buffs, torpor distract 3 quicksteps debuffs, ~1300+ acc and best accuracy was only around 25% Needless to say we couldnt do enough damage to kill it. Tried doing a magic setup afterwards with similar related debuffs but still wasn't happening. Thinking a SCH magic burst mana burn might work though.

    SAM, SAM, DNC, GEO, GEO, WHM
    SMN, PLD, BRD, COR

    We used SV Madrigals, Hunter's Roll and Bolster Precision+Torpor.
    One melee died early and another at like 30%, the last melee alive was at 92% acc, Ramuh acc was correct too. NM had 400k~ HP. I think it would have been a much easier win if I had used Perfect Defense.
    I forgot to mention, Sovereign Behemoth can use multiple TP moves in a row. Thunderbolt x2 > Meteor can wipe a group after Howl.

    Something is making Hidhaegg take double skillchain(magic?) damage, but, yeah... so much easier to just hyper-buff melee zerg these down. Barfira from a WHM and Vex make the breath trivial. It can also be easily slept with ES or Focus/Lang.
