Why was dev of the year and best fighting game mentioned sort of off-hand in an interview with Reggie, but best racing/sports game (combined for some reason) put on the main stage?

Oh and best trending gamer...? No. This is better than the Spike awards but that isn't hard to do. Ideally it should be similar to this tone and style, but just you know, maybe focus on the award giving for more than 2 minutes.

Ashamed to say I never got around to playing Twilight Princess or Skyward Sword. TP's art style looks gorgeous and the story looks compelling. If they ever release them as an HD collection I'll be out buying a Wii U the next day

Honestly, I didn't think this award show was -too- bad. I generally hate awards shows in general since they are usually snooze fests, but them actually mixing in quite a lot of new trailers for games at least kept things kind of interesting. Didn't watch the VGAs last year, but after watching this:
