i've gotten a couple of PMs from people from other servers.. so i thought maybe I'll just open this up to all servers. For now I've managed to create characters on

Bahamut / Cerberus / Ragnarok / Leviathan / Valefor / Odin / Sylph / Quetzacoatl / Shiva / Phoenix / Fenrir / Asura

so you can dbox to me on those servers (Arciele, except for on Ragnarok.. Spira) unless you'd prefer a direct donation, for which you can PM me to arrange a meetup


i'm not to sure about the $9 thing tbh. its a cost i'll bear at a later date.

Well, apparently using freely available 3P programs to POS hack and farm thousands of Alexandrite per Salvage run is worth a mythic, so I'd hope that anything constructive and independently creative is also worth a mythic.

Lets not forget that he'd probably be mining with or without a community to mine for. I have to imagine personal curiosity plays the largest part in his decision to uncover new items, regardless of whether or not he actively plays. I know several people who check in on new items after updates for this reason, even though they lack active accounts

That said, give him a free mythic if you feel so inclined- don't if you don't. Personally I fall in the latter category, but to each their own

Ah yes I see what you mean. I'm not opposed to RMT per se (lol wrote a legal research paper on it) but given I'm willing to spend money to get this done I'd rather give it to the deve and the community at large than to a third party corporation whose sole purpose is to thrive on economic forces, and who has historically griefed both player and dev in various ways. also SE says it's not allowed.

That, and I think it's a nice way to connect with the community and bring us together. This could probably be the first cross server crowd funding drive in FFXI.. And the progress is very encouraging

Just passed the first 10m, so that means I'm pledging $10. Based off spicyryans recommendation, it'll be to BG for server costs. Keep it coming guys
