Bot problem continues to mind-bend me.

In any channel I go from starter continent past ShuShire is swarming with bots. I stopped by Makoko island to complete a few things I skipped and there were 30-40 per channel, per zone, now moving faster then mounted speed, wall clipping/teleporting? (maybe server lag).

They're also swarming NPCs in Vern and Luttera spamming Chaos Dungeons. I've never seen anything like it. I'm guessing they're selling the T1 honing mats on the AH?

I've been playing like 8 hours a day and the only place I've ever seen them is lower level collectible farming spots lol. Guess I've dodged them

I report & block any selling bit I see in chat now. Takes only a couple seconds and unclogs my chat window, not that I pay much attention to the chat anyways

I actually find the chat quite useful in this compared to every other MMO in the last, 10?, years. Of course, there is a lot of nonsense in there, but they spam events/island/etc that I sometimes don't have an alarm for hah

Yea, chat can be good for that. Or saying a monster is up or where a roaming npc is

Vern update came out today. Amongst the more important updates, for gamepad users, there's now a feature to disable to virtual keyboard.

Still 100 bots in each channel, in any area that I've visited. Been seeing a lot of Gunlancer bots lately O-o

Haven't been playing to much but finally got to 1340 on me main. Some of the "end-game" Abyss Dungeons and Guardian Raids have some cool mechanics.

Thanks, but I haven't actually logged in since. I realized that despite playing daily, and 5 alts, I wasn't keeping up with the release schedule unless I wanted to have no gold or resources, and that was just to hit minimums. Way too many bots, too much RMT, and too fast a release schedule, combined with too hard a climb for me, and I don't see those issues going away. Maybe I'd still be interested if there was more side content but I've exhausted that already. Most everything left was locked behind even more merchant spawn grinding which I kind of had enough of with the Golden Horse. As much as I'd like to play around with artist classes, why bother due to the grind to get them to be able to do the content?
