Skimmed through his VOD on it, game looks really good, definitely going to give it a try at launch.
Having a blast so far

Hey fellows,
Starting up a guild on Una server for the discord server I "run" (it's nothing special) for some friends, random members etc etc. Names all locked in (same as my discord) "Radical Dreamers" <~<
My buddy was one of the first few in before the huge lock-out queue bottleneck yesterday and was able to secure the name. Let me know if anyone's interested in joining up?
anyone playing this game on controller? I hate clicking to move with a passion but I don't really want to gimp myself if I don't have to
I'm doing it on Sorcerer and it's working great for combat. The game has some auto-targeting options for targeting spells, and you can config all of the skill buttons, items, and such to almost any controller button/combo, so it's highly customizable. It doesn't do menus very well, but that's what the keyboard, right next to me, is for.
EDIT: nevermind I figured it all out lol
Poked around for a bit and I only have one complaint... I'm really having trouble with the movement. Click to move feels super unnatural to me during combat and the default settings for the controller aren't great. Still with a bunch of button remapping the controller is pretty decent. Although it seems like it's going to be a ton of button combinations to memorize. Oh and RS/R3 as mouse feels like I'm going to break the stick... like mentioned above I find myself using keyboard and mouse for menus a lot. But overall this looks like a very solid experience.
Controller is easy. You really only have like 8 skills + Z. If you have a pad with back paddles, just map the 4 face buttons to 4 actions and paddle 1 + 4 face buttons to the other 4. You can make like R1 G.
I REALLY hope Diablo 4 is more like this game than not. It is fantastic so far.
I've seen several complaints about click to move, and I'm honestly a little confused by it. It's pretty standard fare in ARPG and isometric PC games, many of which didn't really have any other option for movement other than the mouse until fairly recently.
Been saying this ever since D4 was announced. If it's just a prettier D3, it can kinda F off at this point. I'm sure it will sell well, whatever it ends up being, but Lost Ark beat them to the punch of releasing this type of game in NA first, and PoE exists, so whatever it does, it's going to be second to the market.
Ya'll are insane lol. This shit will die faster than New World as everyone comes to term with its P2W grind. It's a dead time killer that will fade to obscurity.
D4 needs to worry about POE2.
yea like, Diablo/PoE and Lost Ark aren't even the same genre... isometric doesn't mean theyre the same type of game.
Lost Ark gets super repetitive once you start chaos/raid/towers/cubes daily. Raids will also start to screen out slow reflex ppl (t1/t2 is still easy). Pretty sure there will be a massive drop as soon the novelty wears off, and ppl realize the repetitiveness of the game.
Yeah, I can't imagine that people who play MMOs and ARPGs could tolerate repetitiveness for very long.
Should I funnel my Twitch drops to my current (and only) main or should I wait and play a few different classes first? Not sure if the Twitch drops were character wide.
edit: also I noticed in my skill tree thing I have quite some abilities, but I was wondering if my maximum load out is 8 abilities in accordance to the slots available on the left of the keyboard/UI?
