I've complained from the beginning about not having a FB character and after getting Agrias on one of the last days of the FFT banner; I just pulled a Vaan on my daily half price. At least I've got options now. :D

Halloween event coming the 21st. Complete with global exclusive Main Character pulls. All with Halloween themes like Dracu Lasweel (ha!).

The rewards look good too. Each one gives good stats and a unique ability.

An accessory with Mag/SPI+15% and a cure ability (Treat)
A head armor with +30mag and AOE damage +stun (Boo!)
And a kitchen knife with +60atk, and unmitigated one hit (Stab)

Also unique materia for the Halloween pulls. Auras that give either Def/SPI+# to all allies or Atk and mag

More mage stuff lol, wow. Do we know if 6* awakening materials are available? because I really need some (I'm assuming yes given that 3 out of 4 of these new units can go to 6*)
Sucks that their pull reates will be super low.

Going forward nearly every serious event should have them in some form, whether its drops from chests or purchasable. 6* mats are pretty much a mainstay and a must get during any of them, even if you don't have any 6* to awaken. Nothing worse than being short them when you need them. Think Sacred/Holy Crystals a couple months ago, except with no way of earning them for a week+ at a time.

daily 3* Pecil, that's my second 3* pecil from dailies this banner.

Not sure if it's worth keeping up with the daily pulls for the halloween banner... correct me if i'm wrong but the event characters seem lackluster

Daily was Vivi but in my grand tradition of the last couple of banners I threw a full priced pull and got a 3* Cecil. That makes 3 events in a row that a final day full priced has netted me a desirable character(4* Agrias and 5* Ramza before). It just sucks that it's going to take me a while to get Cecil up to a usable level; I'm spending lapis to finish leveling Agrias so I can clear Golbez before the event is over today.

Like 9 levels away from 100 Cecil, myself. Taking forever with EXP runs.

Also been contemplating a no weapon defensive party for explorations to try and LB build through auto spam. Main issue is wondering how deep into the game progression I'd want to go in order to guarantee the best progress per clear. Party would be something like Cecil, Charlotte, Roselia, Lenna, and whomever else might have a decent utility SB.

No Cecil today in 8ish tickets. I did manage a 3rd Zidane though! Already have 2 DW completed and a 3rd would ensure I never run a DD without it.

The Halloween event has 100 gigantaurs available at a VERY modest price (10k corns, or 1/3 of a trust moogle). I'm going to use that to power my 3* lvl 1 to 100. I already have all the awakening mats.

Seems like there's a lot of Gigantuars again in this event so I guess I can safely raise Pecil and Light to 6* and get them to cap.

FYI, it will take 131 gigantaurs to get from 3* lvl 1 to lvl 100 for a single non-in-game character. It will take 100 to get from roughly lvl 35 5* to lvl 100 6*. It takes 67 to get from lvl 1 to 100.

Well both are capped so I guess I'll wait and see who is gonna be more useful for this event. I also have Charlotte at 80 so Cecil could take a break lol.
