Switched my leader to a capped Cecil with LB at level 16 (+65%). Still debating how to spec out Golem and may use the kitchen knife as well for a bit.

Can we be done with pumpkin slaying yet? Like, I know this and FFT were better than the cakes, but these grind events just run way too long. Still have a few LB pots to buy then the 30k TM. Everything else might go into the 540 6* mats depending. :/

Eh I don't mind. It's like daily spamming in FFRK: you waste your stamina in a few minutes and get rewards in the process. I just hope we get a break after this so I can clear the new story content.

Goddamnit; Golbez's instant KO at 50% is total bullshit. Took out 4 of my characters and there was no way I could recover to finish it off. The *ONLY* reward from elite is the Trust Moogle, right?

Yeah, I'm a bit behind on the most recent update/quests, so these repeat grinds have been slowing that down. Far as RK goes, I'm kinda at the point there where getting lazy about stamina now and then isn't going to hurt me. Not quite true here, especially with time-limited items to get. Would honestly feel like less of an issue if we could save up 12+ hours of stamina. Touch over 6 now with all the FFT spam.

How do you guys deal with Turtle fuck? He's for all intents and purposes immortal once he comes out of his shell and goes defensive...

If I knew what % he popped his stupid head out at I might be able to just time it to where Lightning kills him before he comes out... but it just feels like i'm pretty much relying entirely on dumb luck. My mages wipe even if they're defending cause he attacks relentlessly.

I've killed him once by sheer luck alone, then Wind bitch petrified Lightning and that was game over (i've since added Golden needles to my items since I didn't realize Esuna doesnt work on stone, gee)

I had a 500+ attack Lightning companion so I can't speak to any issues with the 4 fiends; I didn't have any of them last over 2 rounds. I threw in the towel; the 3 attempts I made are already too much candy missed. lol

The lightning friend I'm using is 636 Attack, She still does sub 1k damage to the turtle using Spark Strike and is literally 100% full resisted (0 damage) using just about anything else, including Crushing Blow, once he comes out and goes into the "Defensive" mode. She has Diabolos set as her Esper... I just know once he goes defensive I can no longer hurt him with her :\, not sufficiently anyway. I'm using Cheer as well.

On her first turn she'll take it to under ~20% HP... but he then buffs himself and becomes indestructible... I know how to beat him in IV but in this he just becomes nearly immortal and his damage output masacres everyone, not to mention the instant-KO chance on Whirlpool having a stupid high landing rate ._.

I tried Imperil to revert his Elemental resists once, Dispel never even crossed my mind ~.~

I think she does yeah. But you gotta remember dispel gets rid of everything, including debuffs, so you wanna keep an enemy debuffed do dispel firat and reapply the other debuffs after.

Reddit Guide for the story portions of this mornings update. I'll probably be using it because kongbakpao's website loads slowly on mobile.

I'm going attempt to clear pro Halloween, then if the candy corn yield is low, I'll zerg the story missions since it's only ~280ish Stamina.

For pro Halloween I'm thinking:

Firion with DW excalibur/rising sun/barrage
6*Pecil
Chizuru with DW Chirajiradin/Masamue
Terra for Firaga and Raise
Lenna
Friend lightning

The new trial was a nice wake-up call. The cactuar wrecked me on my first attempt.

2nd attempt went much better.

Round 1:Use a Void Vessel on the Cactuar, it deals 2000 damage and doesn't require a unit with Throw. After the Void Vessel, you'll have to deal 100 damage, my friend Lightning with 600 atk did that all herself.

Round 2: Bladeblitz from Firion, Blizzaga from Kefka, and The AoE ice attack from Lightning killed these in one turn. I didn't use any buffs/debuffs

Round 3: Full break on Seaker first, then followed up with Bladeblitz, Thundaga, and Lightning's AoE thunder attack. Seaker died first round, and then it was just a matter of conserving mp while taking down Io.

Round 4: I was scared of this one, but he is so much weaker then his adv coliseum counterpart. Dead in two rounds from AoE. In hindsight, I should have just focused the head.

Round 5: Make sure to get one debuff on the boss at least per round, he'll waste part of his turn removing whatever you hit him with the next round. He hit my Pecil for 300ish with Cheer up. Ideally you'll do enough damage to push him to Graviga every round and he'll only ever do % based damage. If you can't do that, imo, he wasn't that hardest part of this trial.

Manage your mp well, and bring some elixers. All bosses can be hit with Osmose once to restore 100+mp.

I really enjoyed this one.

The Void Vessel strat made this for me. That first boss was by far the worst.



Thanks to this rod both of my mages are 360+ MAG. Could take one to 400+ but I'm dividing them equally

I'm currently fighting demon and having serious MP issues. I read the guide on reddit that mages have an "easier" time. I've got a friend's mediocre lightning (465 atk) along with Kefka x2, tellah, lenna, and vaan. Not sure if this is just a bad combo, but I'm not dealing much dmg each turn in comparison to the amount of MP I'm using. He's only about 50% and I have almost no ethers left. I'm down to spamming blizzara and iceblitz.

Assuming I die, I'll probably come back with my "balanced" party of a Pecil, Vaan, Chizu/CoD, Lenna, OP Lightning.

edit: He dead! Used 2 phoenix downs, all my elixirs and turbo ethers. Finally just started using power break every round. At 50% just used Kefka prime and Lightning to DD, everybody else on support with occasional blizzaras. Much harder fight than I anticipated, but I guess it wouldn't have been that bad if I had the 700atk lightning that I usually use. And Kefka Prime now has 463MAG.
