Final Fantasy: Brave Exvius (Smartphones)

What is your unit setup? I do Pro with any lightning over 500ATK and it takes 2-4 turns, depending on how high that atk is.
My setup is a 6* Pecil, chizu with murasame, Vaan with enhancer, kefka, lenna.
cheer and focus first turn with pecil and lenna, vaan full break, chizu barrage, lightning crushing blow, and kefka hyperdrive.
Each subsequent turn Pecil can use drainer for a little damage, Vaan has barrage (but could also use full break; he doesn't do much dmg regardless), and lenna can either heal or attack.
The majority of the damage is coming from hyperdrive, crushing blow, and barrage. The rest of the crap is just for chaining to get those 3 higher.

edit: It's worth mentioning that any character over 500 should work so long as they have DW plus barrage or another high-damage attack. I assume you have at least one or two friends now with DW, excal, and barrage?

I ran the first few runs very mage-heavy, and he 1-shotted 2 of my kefkas on his first damage turn. I still pulled out a win courtesy of whale-lightning, but it made me jittery, so I started bringing vaan and a couple units that wouldn't die as fast.

My two strongest friends are 452 attack Lightning and 456 Chiz :/

and my team is

CoD - 278 attack; barrage
Lenna - Cheer
Chiz - 311 attack; barrage
Bartz - 192 attack (w/ flametongue anyways, figured weakness would be better than the stronger sword); barrage
Vaan - 213 attack (full break)

Looks like I do have a Kefka that I forgot about, but while he's lv 80, I don't have shit for mage gear, highest I can get his MAG is 240, lol

You may just be screwed, or at least in for a LONG fight. If you really want the moogle, go buy a bunch of the turn-extender things for his death countdown.
Didn't you get a new rod for kefka during last event? Do you not have ramuh leveled? I'd think damn near anything would be better than 192atk bartz. Hero rings? Craft 4 10%MAG materia? Regardless, Pro doesn't have weakness to fire, he has resists fire 20%. So take your chiri and flametongue off and use a real weapon on bartz. If you can keep chizu alive and barraging every turn, keep cheer up, and use vaan for support and FB, you should be able to do it. Did you make a Cura materia? Stick that on Vaan maybe?

I thought somebody on BG here had a ~500ATK, DW/excal 6* cecil? If so, take him. He'll do great damage with excal x 8. Also, if you want to add me let me know. My kefka doesn't do as much damage in this event as he's done in others (462MAG at the moment, until I stick a dualcast on him), but he still can break things with hyperdrive or chaining.

Only have 2 hero rings; both of them are on Chiz. I have 84 fire megacryst, 3 ice megacryst, so won't be able to make any more for a while.

Which event are we talking about? I didn't get enough mats for gravity rod (that's the only one i can think of); other than that my strongest MAG wep is +15.

and I've gotten it down to like 20% w/o any worries of dying, just die due to time out. What's the turn-extender thing? Haven't even heard of that

Malithar has a 547 ATK Lightning dual wielding Excaliburs, I think. Dig for his info on the chart and hope he's not full, I guess. But yes, utilize some of the freebie Survivor's Drinks if you haven't already. Personally prefer using Area Blast over Crushing Blow for this fight, and I can't remember if Mal has Barrage TMed up or not. Nonetheless, Lightning should have enough HP to survive 2 AoEs (boss has 2) with you healer probably tossing a curaja in turn 3 to outright mitigate one if you're going over timer.

One of the event items is an item that extends the death by 3 turns for 1 character. You can buy them from mog king for dirt cheap.

The rod I'm referring to is the Lilith rod; it was from beating PRO giant of babel event (not the ELT, which was a trust moogle IIRC). You should also have a hat and robe from other random events or colosseum. And what lvl ramuh? Even without the hero rings, you should have decent MAG with that +40% materia.

I'm nearly positive Mal has barrage, and I think I remember seeing him running a Pecil with excals at one point... maybe before he got lightning leveled? Maybe starby as well?

Think Starby has Firion set last I saw, but ATK was in the 450s. Likely just prepping for his 6* form.

Hoping I can yoink Luneth. While Fencer has done fine with story content, she ceilings pretty low on these PRO fights since I don't have dual wield or other good TMs.

I had trouble with Babel, wasn't able to complete it.

Gonna have to go w/ a physical team on this one. Actually don't have Ramuh yet, but I can get that when my stamina fills up. I have 110 Yellow megacites, 88 yelloe magicites, so I think that should get me to at least 30 (if I'm not mistaken). Had other things to be farming I guess since I figured I'd need enough decent mages to actually want to put one on the team instead of throwing a random mage in a physical team.

I'm assuming we don't have a bg spreadsheet for friend codes?

Did you not do *any* babel? The difficulties up to PRO were manageable even with a very "meh" party. ELT was a bit of a bitch without a solid friend list, but that only gave a trust moogle I think.

Also, do you have Shiva leveled? She's decent for a mage. I just have to assume that even a slightly gimpy kefka has to be better than your bartz at this point. And yes, ~150 megas will get you to maxed lvl 40 from lvl 1 1* iirc.

I don't remember how much I did; I don't even remember having an 80 kefka. I play this game drunk sometimes lol, so I probably read something about mage teams being preferred (if that was even the case) and not probably said fuck it.

I'm totally f2p on this one; since I've already spent 100 or so in my year of record keeper (and f2p going from this point onward in both games) lol, so if I was drinking I probably discouraged myself or lost once and said fuck it or something, but yeah prob didn't get too far into that event.

This one I've cleared everything but the last fight and have farmed up enough candy corn for most of the stuff (all the tickets, quartz, equipment, trust moogles, and now working on 6 star upgrade mats)

I've got Barrage on her but Crushing Blow is typically better due to chaining. Barrage is great for endurance fights though cause 45 MP a turn for Crushing Blow really hurts if shits not dead within 3 or 4 turns.

Those with lightning... why does it feel like crushing blow does more damage than barrage? I assume I'm just seeing chain results, or maybe I'm just wrong. The pure numbers should favor barrage (3.2x vs 2.5x) but it just seems like crushing blow does more.

Gotcha added. Good luck on the fight, the tips given above from others are your best bet. I'd try and use Deprotect with someone instead of Full Break. I dunno why but I've never had the -defense land from it on him, but Deprotect seems to land very often. Also use Imperil, that'll give you an extra 20% damage for anyone using an elemental weapon or attack.

That's why I prefer it personally, specially if I'm taking a Lightning friend. Doubly so if that Lightning has Excalibur, elemental chains stacking 30% boost is just broken as all hell. That, and I don't have to sit there and watch 45 seconds of auto attacks.
