Those with lightning... why does it feel like crushing blow does more damage than barrage? I assume I'm just seeing chain results, or maybe I'm just wrong. The pure numbers should favor barrage (3.2x vs 2.5x) but it just seems like crushing blow does more.

Easier to chain and it reduces the enemy's thunder resistance so it deals more damage after your first cast.

Sadly it doesn't do thunder damage. You could swap to Thunder Blitz or whatever her skill is but you'd be losing more than you're gaining I think. There isn't a competitive thunder based weapon she can use (Coral Sword is it IIRC). That hammer from the next event isn't bad but there isn't even an Equip Hammer materia in JP. Who knows if/when it'd ever be added. Best we can hope for is GL events to get an exclusive weapon she can use to add thunder into the mix and make her into something similar to Orlandu, Tidus, and Eileen minus the super crazy chain potential.

hwo do you get this? i heard of people having thousands of FP but mine always caps at 99

The button caps out visibly at 99 summons, but if you go into it your points keep accruing until the 100k cap.

FYI: you can use unused/unwanted units to "store" XP if you don't have the space. I'm trying to burn 100% of my FP to get as many gigantaurs as possible (need ~67 to get a fresh lvl 1 6* to lvl 100). I don't want to store a bunch of 5k and 10k cactuars. So I have a couple unused 4* that I likely won't ever level (like that 100% barrage luna that I just finished). So she's now lvl 60 and worth 166k xp; a capped lvl 40 FP unit is worth 40k. It's worth noting that you only get about 30% of the XP back on a 4*, and 40% back on a 3*, but it's still more efficient (in my opinion, in this specific case) than wasting a ton of space on 5k and 10ks. It's also worth noting that if you have expanded the hell out of your unit slots, this may be irrelevant. But I'm trying to hoard XP so I can not get Luneth, and so I don't want to spend a bunch of lapis right now to expand just to keep 30 5k cactuars. Also keep in mind that 5 1* units is worth 2500 xp, so don't just sell them, stick them on your 3* as well.

I burned all 100k points, plus the FP campaign points that were mailed. I only got ~20ish gigantaurs, and I have a few of the other flavors. But my first enhance is going to be 500k from a couple of capped 60's and 3 capped 40's. Crossing my fingers for a great/amazing, but I know that won't happen till I start using the 5k cactuars. I think I can get CoD up to around 85 today, and will have to cap her over the weekend depending on how the event goes. I'd like to be able to use her in the event (final boss is human), so CoD should be a monster. I just wish I had farmed DW and a second rising sun before this event.

If I had this to do again, I'd use only 3* FP units, not 4* units. You only get 30% from the 4* with this method, yet 40% from the 3* FPs. Still, if you have nowhere else to dump a ton of 5k cactuars, it's way better than nothing. Each 3* is 40k XP. I kindof want to see what a capped 5* and 6* will give you, but I am a pussy and don't want to risk accidentally muscle-memory-clicking that button to nuke them (even with the warning popups!).

Well I managed to grab all the mats for CoD, Luneth and Refia as well as the 70k trust moogle and I still have like 50k lol. Gonna turn that into money I guess, we'll see.

Yah I have 60k left and I didn't get the 70k moogle so that 60k is being turned into cash to get my stockpile building for when we get those character augments waaaaaay in the future.
