I'm not used to the Arena not defaulting to the Colosseum team yet, to the point where I actually started a match with my "currently leveling" team consisting of mid 40-50 lvled CoD, Firion and Arc.

....still managed to win because the opponent I picked had a team with Fran and Edgar included, but still not liking that it doesn't default back to a selected party for you.

This. All we're left needing is to have equipment and espers be independant of each party. I'd love to have full +HP, immunity accessories, and better esper placement for my Arena team, but I'll be damned if I have enough motivation to swap the gear and abilities each time I want to do it. At some point JP got the independant esper placement for each party, but they still don't have a system for equipment to be set differently for each.

I want to merge Duane into Lunneth so I can finally 100 him, but man lol idk he was like my first 5 star unit. He sucks and I'll never use him again, but may want to keep around just for the fuck of it.

If you got the space, keep him. While it sucks lvling characters, it's something you'll finish easily in a few days, so not really worth wasting a nostalgic unit on if you're still attached to em. And who knows maybe he'll get an upgrade eventually and become useful again.

Any idea if Arena is bugged or if you're supposed to cycle through the 5 rewards? I was under the impression the first 5 wins/losses gave the rewards, but I'm on chain 14 and I've gotten the rewards three times now. Everyone getting that? If it's intended, thats a nice 120ish Lapis every day if you manage to use up 15 attempts without losing each day.

If you get the 3 Metal Gods to spawn they are worth an additional 1k karma each, but in 200 energy I have only seen them once.

I doubt it; it's meant to tempt you to spend on the banner; I guess my troll Seria from daily is really going to be a blessing after all... at least for a couple of weeks.

I've read it is a bug. But just now I did 5 runs and didn't receive any rewards so I'm not sure what is intended and what isn't.

Also I swear I remember getting an arena summon ticket at one point but now I don't have any when I went to use it. Maybe I just imagined the ticket.

Arena summon tickets are sent to the mailbox, so make sure you receive it first before you go to summon.

There's no might about it; apparently this type of event with bonuses for banner characters is standard in JP so get used to it I guess. The only difference is there are sometimes 3* chars and the 4* banner chars are easier to pull in JP.

There was definitely some bugs with this yesterday, though I haven't tried today yet. I had gotten two from the rewards board and spent them (without going into my mail). I later noticed them in the mail, but when I claimed them I didn't get anymore tickets. Think it's safe to assume Arena is just a buggy mess right now, between extra/no rewards (speaking of, someone on reddit suggested it resets around 7PM EST, which would explain some extra rewards last night), reports on reddit of people beating a team but getting the losing screen, the weekly/monthly reward brackets listing 3,000-3,000, and weirdness with the rewards, etc. It'll all get ironed out I'm sure.

Event currency is certainly ass this time. I threw an 11 pull and lucked out with a second Exdeath and Agrias, plus a Karl and Seria. No plans to level them up ever, but I'm having no issues doing the 13 energy state with both of them plus Lightning, Agrias, and Lenna.

Yeah this is going to take forfuckingever. We were getting 2200 per run in the last event... down to 150 or some bullshit? I just want my gigantaurs and moogle. Rest of that looks kinda crappy.
