I've done more than 10 runs and haven't seen any of these things you all are talking about. Do I need a synergy unit with me ?

Just random, synergy units have nothing to do with it, they just make the most of it when it does happen. I've done upwards of 40~ runs I'd guess and only seen them 5 times in various amounts (1x twice, 2x twice, 3x once). You'll know you have them when you go to the second stage of the level cause it'll say 2/4 instead of 2/3. They look like a cross of metal slimes and something outta Kirby. I've never played BF so no idea of their relevance.

I did about 8 pulls this morning blindly hoping for an Elza, but I was really just wanting *any* of them to expedite farming. Since you can carry 2 scrubs with a good team, if I can reliably take a friend BF unit, that should cut down on farm time considerably. Maybe I'll even level Seria a little to make her not utterly useless. Probably not though. She's just horrible.

BCLid's Hexstrike fucks up the final boss. Seems 100%.

Combine her with any wave clear + bonus units and this event is faceroll easy.

I've been rolling with:
Pecil w/Focus then Barrage,
CoD lvl100 Barrage,
Lightning Bafira then Crushing Blow
2 Tiliths i pulled from daily & a few tickets

then companion of either CoD/Lightning/Luneth/Elza.. whichever shows up at 400+ attk.

Boss melts after 2 rounds. Tilith's usually get smoked but that doesn't matter since you still get +75% from each

I'm tempted to lvl up BCLid, just because people have found her so useful these last 2 events. But i think i'm sticking with slowly bringing up at least 1 Arc to replace Kefka in certain situations.

So apparently, if your game lags, freezes and crashes in the middle of an arena fight, it's considered an instant loss?

I was literally one unit away from winning a match, it crashes and all of a sudden my streak ends even though I have all my units standing. That's just kinda crappy.

Yeah, had that happen to me. The fact there's an achievement for win streaks makes that a pretty unacceptable "feature" since even deliberately choosing weak opponents can result in a loss.

I don't see myself pulling any BF unit and I only have 1 in my FL so far so this grind will be awful. Thankfully it seems to be raining Lapis now between missions,arena and daily stuff.

Just stick to the tickets and gtfo the event; I'm doing that on one account that didn't pull a BF unit on daily.

Yeah, I'm getting the tickets then maybe some cactaurs, but ugh.

Suppose this bonus system will be better when limited to FF specific series and those capped at 4* now getting 5-6* versions, but these out-of-left-field collabs are gonna be rough.

Thank you! Memu never really did work very well for me. It'd randomly crash and the macro would get off track very often. Seemed anytime I changed windows or the mouse hovered over it's window it'd screw up the macro somehow. Nox never had any issues and during the early days with little to do, I'd leave it running for a week at a time with the only intervention being to complete dailies and empty my materials.

I went on a nice little spree of metal gods this morning. Had 3x back to back with a 2x a couple of rounds later with a friend Elza and my 2x 75% units on each. I'm actually finished with the event now, though I'm skipping some things. Got all of the 6* mats, SQs, tickets, cactuars, weapons, elixers, phoenix downs, and 2x of the guardian materia. Don't much see the point in the attacker materia since you'd have +10% magic or (after the rest of this island comes out) +10% attack on your damage dealers. That trust moogle can eat it unless week two sees an increase to metal god pop rate or something.

Alkar I can make room if you want. Also I try to force app close to rng a random Elza owner because I'm greedy.

What I don't understand about this event is this is the second BF event that JP got. They already had BF units from a previous banner. Throwing a curveball like this is kinda unsporting XD
But I can say with confidence that there won't be another super shitty one like this in the future. All banners have an accessible 3* you can pull so most likely you'll have a friendslist full of bonus units.
