That's what I'm most afraid of, honestly. It sucks that if you crash it's auto-lose.
I'd hate to give anyone ideas so I'll kee it to myself but I know exactly what to put on a defensive team to ruin people's win streaks. Seriously some stuff I've seen has been AIDS.
With hundreds of thousands of other people on there, I'm not sure I'm all that worried about killing other win streaks.
Crashes kill enough win streaks as is; don't wanna cockblock more than that.
Any group with enough cura/curaja's in it is a nice huge cockblock for many teams that don't have Multi-hit high impact abilities since damage cap is 999 per swing. I imagine 5 P.cecils would be nearly undefeatable if you got enough good Armor for them, since they'd almost always be covering eachother and Curaja'ing after taking damage. They dont even have to defeat you, just outlive you for 10 turns and end in tie.
Its just a matter of having 5 P.cecil... hell even 3-4 would be a true nightmare.
I spam osmose at teams like that. They quit casting Curaja after a while!
Also, dead covers are fucking annoying. So many times Cecil has 1% hp and runs to cover... and then I can't touch them the rest of the turn.
I actually love dead covers... XD Just gotta think of ways to make it work for you ;x ;x ;x *HINT HINT*
That's why I'm keeping mum about it. I've encountered 2 people (one was a weaker version of it) with the setup and if I hadn't of gotten the best RNG of my life I would have been GG'd and the astonishing part was I got to go first. I really don't want to see more people running what I saw lol.
It's relatively cheap and while the attack isn't great, it's the strongest ice based weapon we have at the moment. That doesn't stand out much at the moment, but if an event or boss comes around where chaining ice attacks is the way to go, it'd be very important.
I've got 5 that I plan on working up, more for Maxwell (event boss that gives you access to a base 5* unit, if Global gets it) that does pretty much nothing but holy damage. But I'd totally set that team as my arena team just to see a post about it on reddit someday. :3 If defending mattered beyond screwing other people up, more would prolly do something like that. Its just a matter of having 5 P.cecil... hell even 3-4 would be a true nightmare.
Yeah, lost my win streak earlier, too. 100 feels so far away now since there's no way in hell I'm setting my schedule around 5 hour intervals for this shit.
Since this event is technically JP BF #2 event I'm going to guess when the real BF #2 happens for us (when Tilith gets her 6*) we will see the Maxwell event then. I don't know what else they are planning for that, maybe throw an exploration event or something--but I imagine that's when Maxwell will come.
As a unit maxwell is a bit much of a unit to just hand to players.
Honestly, if the game crashes mid battle it should give you the loss if you were losing and if you were winning it should just eat the arena orb and kick you back to the main menu. But to instantly give you a loss for any kind of crash is ridiculous, especially since I've had fights crash on me before the match even began.
Read about this on reddit for arena. Had given it some thought before but thought Sunbeam would be far too weak. Take CoD, throw on DW and Wizard and Lilith rods, gear up as a mage. Now CoD does 2k+ to everyone every round and blinds. Mines only lvl 81 6* and she's just chewing everyone up. 6* Cecils are a joke, no longer lasting the majority of the fight but going down within 3 rounds. Toss in chaining from Lightning or any fast attacking AoE hits and you can get 1500+ off a single hit.
Sunbeam is classified as a physical skill, but it's a magical attack. Damage is based off your magic stat and it'll be used twice since it's a physical skill. Man-eater+ affects magic attacks so it'll apply towards it as well.
Trying to pump out my first DW now. Looking forward to that!
Clyne and a 2nd Miyuki this morning. Thinking I'll just combine the latter with my first to get her katana a bit more quickly.
