Definitely coming across some high rated people that haven't set an Arena team yet. Fought someone with 3 Seria, Tilith, and a Lightning, and someone ranked 78th with 3 Lunas, Zidane, and a Luneth today. If you see this guy, definitely give him a go for some easy points.

Gratz! CoD has been the MVP of my team the last few events. Maneater+ makes it so strong with only that mace, add on a DW and mediocre boomerang and its even better. Can only imagine what I'd be doing if i had managed at least one Locke and powered thru a Rising Sun...

CoD with rising sun eats people for lunch. I can't WAIT for my DW to finish for that 8-hit barrage in arena (and I have a second rising sun on the way!). I'm currently at ~65% on DW, running the blazingfast macro when I can. With some luck, I can stay in the top 3000 on arena and get that double trust moogle at the end of the month, plus the daily reward on day 28 (also a trust moogle). I'm right around rank 2000 right now, though I may blow a few lapis refills to stay in the top.

After doing a little analysis, spending lapis on NRG for trust is a substantially better bet overall than spending lapis on 10+1 pulls hoping for a 5* like Luneth or Lightning. You can take a 3* character like CoD to nearly god-tier with $30 worth of lapis (dual wield, rising sun x2, etc) and a week of TM farm ... versus dropping $41 for ~18 pulls, of which 70% will be utter trash.

well just had my first loss to a 102 rank whale: Lightning x2, CoD, Luneth and Elza... took 3 rounds went 2nd off the start and they took out my refia first round

Also, first world problem: I always check the menu to see how many fights the vargas fight has to go ahead and do away with the suspense regarding metal gods (4 rounds = metal gods). I saw there were 4 rounds, was elated. Got to the 3rd round, saw only 1 metal god, tapped "auto" in disgust.

Looked away for a sec, looked back down and found my party dead to vargas. With only 1 metal god it wasn't worth the 100lapis refill. So I FINALLY SAW ONE, and flushed it down the toilet. Le sigh.

CoD has been carrying me through this event. My BC Lid stops the boss and CoD (friend unit) barrages the boss. Most hit for 15k-20k, then 6* Cecil bumps it to 25k-30k.

Refia (embolden), Cod (barrage), Luneth (cut through), a couple serias (one with sunbeam, the other with deprotect), and any random elza (for the +100%) kill vargas in 1 turn.
