Biggest take-away for me was the high employee turnover. It sounds like a ton of the work they do is patching up ex-employees code without always being terribly familiar with how everything was designed. Also if I read it right the low chance for Zidane during his banner was unintentionally low?

I saw this as well. He said zidane may make a comeback when/if FF9 comes back around. I was fortunate to pull a zidane during his banner, but a lot of people were NOT that lucky.

High turnover rate is actually quite common but I think most people outside of the industry probably don't know that as well. It's not surprising in the slightest.

Zidane banner being awful was a shock to me. I had to go look back on old posts to see if it was truly that bad. I didn't pull on the first zidane banner because... it looked like ass. But I did drop an 10+1 on the second one and got great results. That's RNG for you though. Finding out that it was an accident kinda surmises how I view gumi though lol. Sometimes they are derpface. I read a lot of reddit posts where they think gumi is like some kind of evil corporation but tbh they either seem to be just doing whatever alim did/whatever SE says they can do/whatever is profitable and makes sense from a company POV. They are still a business. A gacha one at that. The anongumi guy basically reiterated what I thought was going on lol. I was actually more interested in reading about their plans for crossovers and who exactly designed the shitty fina. White Witch my ass, that's a Vivi hat on a Fina.

That all being said: JP just got an anny banner with cecil, zidane, rikku, etc, etc... I had no zidanes prior to this banner and have walked away with 4 zidanes 7 cecils 1 rikku from just dailies and 1 11 pull. Yeah that's a long time to go before its our turn for something like that but just stick with it. Until gacha rates are normalized and base pulls are implemented it's probably best to go easy on pulling, yea?

That being said, I still did my daily today because I plan on skipping the entire gilga banner. Duane. ( ' - ' )b Probably will skip out tomorrow's banner doe.

I have zero characters from the next banner. I'll probably drop at least a 10+1 plus dailies. I'm really hoping for 1 buttz and 3 ExDeath for an all-mage team. Gilga would be amazing, but after my good luck with Luneth, that's simply not going to happen.

I just lost my 160 streak from a dude named Jammer... first round 3 of my people got silenced, second round every single person was silenced, paralyzed, or slept so I didn't even get any more turns before dieing.


On the plus side I finished some more TMs and Blade Mastery is at 90% so my Lightning is almost completely finished!

Yeah, debuff weapons are arguably worth considering even if they might not produce the best damage. Definitely got some mileage from my Shining Splendor on Agrias and once I finish DW a second will likely wind up on Fencer once I get more lumber.

Also wishing people would stop putting shit Maxwells on friend unit. Maybe I'm just bitter since I don't have Lightning, Luneth, or Elza, but if I'm running the event, there's no way I'd win if I picked 'em.

I never made the Shinning Splendor, i have all the materials for its final stage, Its just the tedium of farming fuckloads of Lumber/Copper for the predecessors thats making me not do it.

I know you can buy the Broadswords from a npc, but outside of that, yea Lumber/Copper Ore grinding was a pain, but soo worth the grind.

I'm friends with several of you here already, but if anyone that i'm not friends with is interested, my usual leader is a 457 attack Elza with beast, plant, man and demon killers. I don't emulate or TMR farm, so no dual wield or anything crazy like that, but I also have a Pecil with 5494 HP, 270 ATT and 391 DEF that I can switch out to as needed, as well as a CoD on the way up and an Exdeath waiting for the next banner. I have 33 FL slots open and probably more to come soon, I've been removing players with really high "last login" times.

Decided to see if I could farm up the karma quick to snag the TM to put toward dual wield. Can't complain about 2 3x metal gods while running Tillith, Gimpwell, and whatever 400+ ATK friend Elza I can snag. Up to 32k now, so will have enough before event ends. Yay~

The 350 one isn't bad at all, but still not super great. That 1200 bundle is pretty trashy though unless you're just completely desperate for the awakening mats.

They haven't patched the game at all since Maxwell was introduced. They might on Thursday but that'd be late.

I finally decided to try for Maxwell and I can confirm the savescumming still works. Went through half the fight with nothing but normal melee and Genesis. Would've probably pulled it off too if I didn't forget to re-up Omniveil and then proceeded to get wiped out.

I have a mage team with three of em having Osmose and it just devastates any attempt at counterattacks. Between that and raise-killing CoDs, I cripple the majority of the other team by the end of the first round. Which is good cause my current arena team is kind of crap.
