I knew Esper Terra is supposed to be good, and I knew about a pull only Fina, but I've only seen her referred to as "Dark Fina". I cleared the most recent content, so I inferred who the character would be, but I had no clue that she would be a serious nuker or that she would actually contend with Exdeath. I feel like the game is going to play sort of a hot and cold game with us by alternating between FFBE and classic FF characters dominating. Makes sense financially at least.

I leveled two exdeaths myself. No regrets so far. I never intended to use them outside of the Arena, and inside the Arena they wreck face. I have enough physical units that I never need to run a mage unless an event requires it. Trance Terra and Majin Fina are 5* base. I'm not even going to try to get them.

I'm pretty sure there are more pulled story units than automatically acquired in JP at this point but we recently skipped one in Global (Mercedes). I'm assuming she'll be added in a future banner anyway.

For anyone not using the Amazon version, apparently as long as you log into that version within the next few days, you'll get the tickets. If you're playing on Android, just insure your app is backed up via FB, uninstall the app, install Amazon Underground, and download/install FFBE. Login and you should be good. Your Lapis won't carry over (but it is still there on the Android version) so either use all of it on Android prior to the switch if you want to make it permanent, or just uninstall the app and reinstall from Google Play.

iOS users will need to get ahold of an Android device or download Memu on a PC (maybe works on Mac? Don't care enough to check) and install the app via Amazon Underground. Android users can also download Memu if they don't want to jump through the hoops of uninstall/reinstall. Whatever you do, just make sure your account is backed up via FB. Know it's the cool thing to go against the man and avoid syncing with or using FB, but Gumi is extremely unlikely to help you should you mess up and be unable to log into your account.

Hmm, that has me thinking that using the Amazon version on Memu permanently could be a good idea -- no chance of accidentally spending lapis if a macro goes south.

Pro spam going alot better then elite. Can use 4 carry units plus a good lightning friend. Just wish I had more than 2.

Getting like 950-1250 for a non-cactuar run on ELT is nice. Would feel a bit more comfortable if my Vanille was high enough for Cheer, but can still eke some damageless wins with friend Lightnings around 600 ATK or higher.

Pro gives ~150 base gears without cactuar, so you can calculate your bonus from there.

I run 3 carry units (one is Vanille for Deprotect but you could just esper it) + my own Lightning and a friend Lightning on ELT. Without a giggy, it's ~1k+/run

I can run 3 bonus units + a friend (usually a 420+ Lightning is fine) on Elite... I mean all the bonus units are dead but P.Cecil, Bartz, and Friend are all I need to clear.

I guess I could run 4 Bonus units + Carry friend with Bartz on Pro and probably come out better in the long run? I'd need a 4th Bonus unit though lol, likely this Lightning... that could work...I might switch over to Pro now that I have 4 Bonus units...

I have been ULTRA lucky. Pulled Gilga the other day. Got some tickets from event. Tossed them at the second XIII banner. Gold Hope and LIGHTNING! I'm running a full XIII team with my Luneth on PRO. Is Thunderfall worth it? I have enough 6* mats for Gilg/Lightning/Bartz/Refia. With the event, I should have enough for Firion and WoL.

Equipping Thunderfall means you won't be equipping other better materia. In most cases not worth. However I know a whale with 5 lightnings and he made an argument that it is worth it for him.

AKA: on multi trash stuff he can have his lightning do that first followed by ele blitz. etc. etc...

my own opinion: what is living after 5 lightnings blitz like that.
