ELT run just gave me a 218, so...

( 218 + ( 218 * 4.5 ) ) / 13 = 92.23 gears per stamina.

Earlier proposed PRO would be...

( 150 + ( 150 * 4.5 ) ) / 10 = 82.5 gears per stamina.

So, PRO may be more convenient if you're running a weaker group, but ELT is still technically better if you go with the same bonus units. In my case, it's Lightning (100%), Sazh (50%), Vanille (75%), Fang (50%), Snow (75%), and friend Lightning (100%) to get the 450%, or 4.5, I used.

Edit: Full drop elite without cactuar is 96.45 gears, as well.

Yeah I'm lacking a strong dps to carry through on elite so that's why I've been spamming pro. I can beat elite with my normal team but not a carry group. Been getting 500 plus gears when I do pro with my carry squad. It's not ideal but better than what I was getting.

I'm doing PRO for just shy of 1k gears whereas my ELT team was getting 400. PRO runs Luneth and all XIII characters where ELT runs Lightning friend and actual team.

Doing ELT with 4 Sazhs and Lightning friend(s) is netting me 800-928 gears.....except the 1 run where I wiped and mistakes were made. Worst part was it was on the run where a Gigataur popped too

My 722 ATK Luneth and 4 Sazhs just there for chains/bonus(and 1 for deprotect). 1st 3 waves are one-shotted and 4th gets killed after it does Charge.

That's awesome. I sadly don't have a 5* of my own to carry me with a friend so I need Refia for Embolden. Once that's up, I one shot everything except the boss who takes two turns. I've been very lucky with Gigantuars at least, I've seen 10+.

I cashed in at mog king. Got Talisman, Winged Saint, all SQ, all 5* mats, and all the tickets except for one of the 6k ones. I think I might actually pick up the 30k moogle since there's so much time left.

What is the easiest and fastest way to fill Esper's gauge? Shit dies way to fast on some areas that it's not enough to complete the task.

Anything you use on Lightning at 5* will carry over to her 6* form. The only thing that changes from awakening, is the stat caps go up, allowing you to use more stat items.

Also from what I know it doesnt stop you when you reach the cap... you can waste pots. I could be wrong but I saw that on reddit a while back.

So if you're wanting to figure out how much you've put into them already, like if you're me and you've been spamming them onto certain chatacters and not counting... go to the FFBE Wiki and it shows their stat totals for their level after all their Job traits, and compare that number to a naked version of your unit (whos not assigned to an Esper). You can tally the difference.

For some characters its going to be harder, like for instant P.Cecil has a lot of DEF+% so you'll have to do Math or just guestimate.

If theres any easier way I havent found it other than keeping track early on like... MS Notepad.

It will only block you if the stat is completely capped and you can't add any points to that stat.

If for example you use a big pot and only 1 of the stat points will cap you, it will still allow you to use the big pot when a mini pot would have capped you and wastes the extra stat points.

I got my 30k/70k moogles and all the gigantaurs, tickets, and SQ from the event, looks like now it is time to stock up on 6* materials. I'm going to shoot for having 100 of every material.


With the cactuars this weekend I finished capping my third Exdeath, so my arena team is going to be fun when they can dualcast Meteor again.
