Just got Exdeath into 6*, myself, so maze cactuars will be going to him. Wondering how Cerius will look with her upgrade, but I guess we won't know until maintenance passes.

Also like 9% from Miyuki's TM, but maze is distracting that grind. After that I'll be adding 3 more Mustadios to join my other 2 so Lightning can get his gun sooner. From the looks of it, though, all this is a couple weeks off between the maze and christmas event being another spammer.

We only know that Cerius gets Dualcast, a new Darkness resist spell and the focus will be on green magic only. I'm also expecting Shellga and maybe some other unique buffs/debuffs in there. Overall it's gonna be a niche unit but probably the best for that specific role for quite a while.

I started dumping cactuars onto Lid and Nicole. I have no one else worth leveling and I figure I'll need them for some "story units only" awards later. Specifically Lasswell's katana.

I finally managed to get my 100 consecutive wins today. No random disconnects from coliseum all weekend.

Just bought a bunch more unit slots to fill with gigantaurs. I'm waiting to see if I want to level medius or cerius for this event (ie, they get bonuses to the droprates; don't want to rely on pulling a bunch of units to be productive at the outset). I figured sitting on 65 gigantuars gives me a few options.

I'm also sitting on 50k gears, and unsure what to buy. I got the cactuars, SQ, tickets, both moogles, all the cheaper 6* mats. I didn't get any of the weapons or materia, nor the ingredients to make anything. Thoughts? The goal with farming that much was to just stock up on 6* awakening mats. I'm not sure who I want to awaken next, so maybe just shoot for a roughly equal amount of all of them (except divine crystals, which always seems to require 5)?
Anything I'm missing that I just *have* to get that I've missed?

If you have nothing better to do with your energy, capping out Firion (useful at 6* with enhancements) and D. Cecil (useful with enhancements) wouldn't hurt in the long run.

I'd make an argument for Winged Saint, not because it's good now, but because it's unique. Once we get a chest with Equip Fist materia it's pretty much a +44 defense materia for your tank who doesn't really need a good damage oriented weapon.

Reddit as a whole seems to be down. Maintenance actually happened on time. They just seem to be experimenting with its start time. Or they take joy in constantly changing it.

Maintenance was supposed to start at 2200 PST. Ie, 1am EST. It's only 11pm here.

I don't blame you for thinking it or skimming and seeing it as that. That timing is far more similar to their past maintenances. This timing is just outta left field. Ziero you've certainly lost your chain unless you hit the win screen before it started.

Only way to catch tour Lapis is if maintenance finishes early too. Makes me wonder if that's why they started so early, so when there's 20 hours of extensions, there's still time left in the day when servers come up. -_-

...they really need to make it so that the arena only gives you a loss on d/c if you're actually losing. When the fight is clearly over (last unit just hit 0hp when I got the boot) it should count as a freaking win. I lose more from D/Cs then actually being beaten.

Pulled 4 times with my daily pull, login reward ticket, and 2 bundle tickets.

Mercedes 4*, Charlotte 3*, Amarant 3*, ...Hope 4*

I'd be happy to get Chizuru please, game... Didn't get her on the last two banners, either.

Thankfully I already have a pair of Chizuru. Did a 10+1, got a pile of utter shit. Did 25ish other pulls. Got DKCecil (granted, I wanted deathbringer) 2 troll yellows (sabin and garnet) and literally nothing else.

Thinking I'm going to skip the christmas banner and just keep pulling hard for Noctis. Not sure if I want to do an 11 pull or just stick to daily tickets+1/2off. Noctis banner is just so much better... Noel is nice but Cerius and Medius are still not very good and Santa Roselia is average as fuck.

I'm surely dropping all my tickets on Noct, daily pulls on Christmas. He can cover MAG debuff now so... want him even more lol.
Both new 6* upgrades are meh. Roselia seems ok at best, interesting counters though. Don't know what to think of this new tank.
