Don't know what to think of this new tank.

Don't imagine him being too useful for PvE since anything you'd care about will be immune to paralyze. In general play I could see him as an ok secondary mage tank. Use Bring It On to be attacked 100% with Cecil covering him for -50% DT. He'll be aids in Arena though with a 20% chance to counter with AoE 100% para. All the more reason to get to work on Ribbon TMs if you can.

Bundles and raid rewards are looking good.

I'm surely dropping all my tickets on Noct, daily pulls on Christmas. He can cover MAG debuff now so... want him even more lol.
Both new 6* upgrades are meh. Roselia seems ok at best, interesting counters though. Don't know what to think of this new tank.

im liking this holiday bundle, 2 tix for 300 lapis? + 1/2 price pull? gonna slowly decimate my lapis but thats ok. Too bad my 2 tix today gave me a Shadow and a 3rd CoD half price today was also a 4th Pecil :/ guess that'll just help me finish up an excal quicker

In fairness, that pull isn't *horrible* if you are newer, but aside from Hayate, there's nothing even worth keeping to TM farm.
I think I'm also going to farm a couple 20-sided dice to troll people with in the Colosseum.

I also got a 4* Hope, who is utterly useless now that the gear farming event is over.

You didn't do anything wrong, that's the default. There is a setting somewhere but I don't know where it is.

Decided to do a pull to try and get Noctis. Didn't get him but did finally get Lightning and a whole bunch of Vivi's and Charlotte's.

4* WoL? He's definitely 4*.
He's my remaining long-term holdout. Out of the standard pool, I'm only missing:
WoL, Snow, Vanille, Mercedes
Delita, Ramza, Noctis

I missed all of the crystal warriors, only got Seria from the BF crossover, and missed Rain and Lasswell from Halloween. I expect I'll also not get the 4* and 5* from the christmas banner. Other than TMs, I don't really care about any of those. I'm really regretting not pulling harder for Karl or Fencer at the time. Noctis I want, just for arena bullshit, but I like my current team.

I just got the stuffing beat out of me and my team consists of 6* Lv.71 Gilg, 5* Lv.63 Lightning, 5* Lv.59 Vanille, 5* Lv.27 WoL and 5* Lv.27 Exdeath.

Do I need to gain more levels? Different gear or specific spells/abilities? Up to this point I've been using what I could scrounge through exploring and buying from shops. Equipment is no better than Mythril and Buster Swords to me atm. HALP!

Most of us had a team full of 80's at that point (Lightning was not out yet), so it's hard to know what's "required". My over-geared team curbstomped him. I'd definitely try to get those 27's up to 60+, if not higher. The event that starts soon will give 60 gigantaurs I believe, but I don't know yet how easy those will be to attain. Regardless, right now I'd spam the shit out of Maze. Short of running longass explorations, it's the best XP by far for the effort you put in (10NRG ... 55% of the time you get 35k xp, 25% of the time you get 45k, 10% you get 60k, 10% you get 90k, for a net average of ~4750XP/NRG after great/amazing enhance is throw in).

Baraerora would be extremely beneficial to your survival. The recipe is in the silver chest in Lanzelt Ruins (https://exviuswiki.com/Baraerora). Further, I assume Gilg has a Masamune? Is Vanille your only healer? Lenna? Anybody with Curaja? It looks like you don't have enough healing (Lightning has Cura, Vanille has cura/curaga, etc).
