I haven't seen a 5* in months; this game really bums me out with how horrible the drop rate is on some of these characters. I'm just glad I'm able to clear everything with at worst a good companion.

Why are they only rewarding whales with the points on this event? I've been burning all my NRG on the event since it started and I'm at like 7k points and the top ranking dude has over 400k lolwtf

What's funny is the rewards for those top-end guys are useless in comparison to what has been spent to get the top spots. The dude at the top with 430k points would have had to spend over $200 on lapis *just* for this event (430k points, 160 points per run, ~2690 runs, 53750NRG, 400 lapis refills at 135 each due to max lvl 150, 40000 lapis, ~$.50 per refill). They're going to gift him 10k lapis and some summons.

As I'd much rather spend NRG on TMs, I'm probably stopping after the moogle. Finally finished Genji gloves today, giving me 5 dual wielders in arena (Refia with dual wield, golem staff, and bladeblitz! suck it noctis teams!). Gilgamesh is at ~770atk. Celestial gloves is at 95%, second dualcast is at 70%, and Sakura, deathbringer, and 2nd blade mastery are all in the 30's. After that I've got to decide between Gaffgarion, Agrias, Vanille, Zidane, Miyuki, or one of the multiple-unit teams.

Is there any point in farming a second barrage? I don't use the one I have, but I have 5 lunas that I'd hate to scrap just to need them down the road. What about flare? Ultima? Meteor?

The ONLY natural 5* I've ever seen was Ramza, and that was during the FFT event. All of my best units are just older ones that got 6* upgrades in time. Though I DID finally pull a Zidane, and then promptly dropped all my trust moogles on him. Got DW up to 65% now....where it will most likely stay since I don't have a TM farming macro set up and I haven't been able to get Trust Moogles from the past few events.

Though using up all my moogles gave me enough space to get the 30 Cactaur reward, so that's a bonus I guess.

Kill all but 1 Noctis in arena-> watch said Noctis reverse everything with Blizzard Flask-> Fire Flask.

I have 2 dualwields and 1 genji already. I'll definitely keep for TM, but with Luneth and Lightning, it's not a necessity right now. I think I'll replace lightning in arena down the road, after I finish another sakura (and maybe his own glove). I also have 2 more zidanes that I am unsure if I should farm (probably will want 5 DW eventually, just in case whatever unit I want to use doesn't have it natively).

I have been running memu for months without issue. An hour ago I paused the script to do arena, and it's been stuck on "connecting" ever since. I've cleared cache, restart memu, restart computer, reinstalled the game from scratch, to no avail. It works on my phone without issue. I can see my NRG and lapis, etc. But it just sits on the running chocobo "connecting..." screen forever.

Halp? Luneth is at 99.5% and wants to finish his TM!!!

Pulled White Knight Noel on the daily today. Would have rather gotten Noct but I'm not going to complain -- I know there's content down the road where 2 tanks can be useful.

Coren... only other thing I can think of might be to log in with a different Facebook account briefly to see if that clears or bypasses anything, then go back to your main account. I think changing versions of Memu does a wipe and clean install, so maybe jumping to an old/newer version might help as well.

White Knight Noel is ranked higher than Pcecil as a Tank. Pcecil still has the support side going for him.

Coren, you may also want to try switching to Nox if Memu keeps giving you headaches. In my experience nox is more stable.

Grats on your 2nd Greg. For what it's worth it looks like Noctis will be outclassed sooner than later by enhancements so that 2nd Greg will have more value.

He'll be outclassed by enhancements but there isn't much doubt that Noctis' own enhancements will reverse the order again eventually.

Nox crashes for me often, unfortunately. (like the entire program); and then Memu just closes out of BE, which sucks when you are doing arena

Kinda, but not entirely, its the 80% Draw Attacks with 50% Damage reduction for 3 turns ability, the natural 30% attraction drawing, and -75%PDT ability (Steel) among other things like decent offensive options and Resistance lowering abilities.

He's just better offense and Defense wise than P.Cecil, in terms of protecting the party as well since while P.Cecil can cover at a high rate, attracting 80% of attacks is going to outweigh covering 1 person.

P.Cecil has Focus and cure support though, which means if you're using him as an off-healer (like I am), you'll probably still be using P.Cecil.

Yeah, I've got too much invested in Cecil already (LB up to level 20, stat pots) to switch off my main tank right now -- and until there's some content where he doesn't cut it I'm not too worried. Thinking that Noel might be better in arena though.

Yah if you have him, I'd start improving him. Throwing pots into him, etc... having him ready for when the time comes is important.

Also that said, buffs like Cheer and Focus... does it work like Job traits? I.E +40% attack only applies to their base attack of like 100? Or is it a buff to their full attack?

I'm sticking with Pecil, personally. Is there a good guide for the story? I'm at AQ with NEXT on it, but not sure if it's stopped until the update or if there really is something. Did Carbuncle.

if you've beat the water temple and went back to town for the big thank you where Noel joins you. You're caught up. Only other thing is the Patriot shield side quest which doesn't count as story.
