Also, FYI, current rules in Arena now allow blizzard flask again, but not fire or thunder. Just finally put noctis on my team, so unsure what last week's rules were (if they were the same?), but figured you may want to know that you can now be bullshitted, er, stopped, again.

Not quite... there are 2 bans every week. Fire attacks of any kind are banned this week along with decreased stat parameter moves.

So FFBE wiki ranked Luka as good as Refia. Is Luka that good?

My major issue with Luka is that she doesn't have Cheer/Embolden/Focus/Meditate which isn't always easy to replace. going to be sticking with Lenna myself

Noteable differences:
What does Luka do that Refia can't: AoE regen, her own MP refresh, AoE cure with esuna attached (remember, no petrify removal), AOE water defense, AOE defense
What does Refia do that Luka can't: her anti-resist to the worst status effects that a healer could receive (aside from sleep), Embolden for the atk, Curaja(this can be dual casted, Luka's can't), Full Life instead of just Raise, Dispel.

LB differences: Refia has AOE status ailment removal (including Petrify) with DEF boost; Luka has AOE heal with a SPR boost

Personal opinion: Luka lacking Curaja or Cura makes Refia's ability to dual cast Curaja come out way stronger for the heavier heals. That doesn't mean Luka can't be a solid healer. You can bring along Cecil and hand him your dual cast if you need it. On paper you can make either healer work well for your team and until you throw Dual Cast into the situation the two are pretty on par with each other.
The real thing here is if you own a Tilith, when she gets a 6* she definitely outclasses Luka because she ALSO can't take advantage of Dual Cast. Since I own both Refia(Dual Cast) and Tilith, Luka doesn't appeal to me. Still, she's a pretty solid healer if you lack Refia. If you own Refia you will find situational use for Luka. If you own Refia and dual cast you'll probably find even less use for Luka.

I managed to clear it this morning. I can agree what some others have said, screw going for that esper kill. I had to use my guage for carby reflect and there was no way I was going to drag out rounds to refill it again.

On a happier note, I finally managed to pull a Ludmille today. So thank rngesus this isnt a grind event, for once I can spend time tm farming.

Pulled Dark Fina after 6 tix, crystal went blue > gold > rainbow when she popped, could not believe it happened. Debating whether to keep doing half-lapis pulls or save them for something else coming down the line..

0 reason to keep pulling since you already got Fina and the 3* unit on the banner is utter trash. Not really sure when the next good banner will be though since even the illustrious and overhyped Thunder God banner is pretty shit outside of Orlandu

That's how I got Ramza...my only natural 5*. It happened on a ticket pull for me too.

Also, it seems the event is entirely unplayable for me. Every time I run into a fight, the game crashes and I reload back into the main menu missing energy and down the friend unit I tried to use. I've tried it three times, sat through the cutscene each time and every time the random battle sound hits, crash and dump.

The last exploration event crashed a lot for me as well, to the point I couldn't even do the last stage because it shut down every fight. But at least I stayed in the level when I logged back in. I feel the game is taunting me because my Zidane is 10% away from finishing DW and this moogle is literally all I need.

Dark Fina ELT is hard as fuck without a dedicated healer lol. I think I'll just have to wait for a Refia friend and take MP restoratives.
