Fucke dup part is people are fucking idiots. Randi is SS tier once he gets his enhancements, and our version is even stronger than the Altema ranked one as we get even more killer effects and ATK bonus on our version of Randi.

I still have people arguing on another forum that I frequent that Noctis is worse than Luneth and Lightning and therefore "garbage". I also heard from others that Tilith replaces Refia and WoL replaces Cecil 100%. *smacks face*

Anybody else find event farming more tedious than normal? Maybe I just got spoiled by the other events recently that I could just Auto through, but having a 7-round fight just seems excessive when you have to run it hundreds of times.

On the bright side, I've seen a lot more rabittes than I ever saw doublecorns!

the slime is what makes it tedious for me since it limits potential configurations and, for most people, will mean you can't bring a full suite of bonus units. i'll just be going for bare essentials this time. fuck the axe. also have yet to see any rabbites, event is really annoying me.

I'm running Pro as Exdeath literally one shots everything but the Gigas. And even with him I just have to Deshell or Faith Exdeath (Esper abilities) and he's good to go.

Only have one event unit now, but I do the daily pull just in case so I'm hoping for at least one more. Three units will make farming go much faster, especially since Randi seems more common on my friend list then Ace.

Most of the event items are garbage so at least you can safely ignore most of the event.

Well just spent the tickets we got from Portal App, got yet another troll gold, this time my 50th Fran, gotten 10 troll golds out of 20 tickets on this banner trying for Primm..... Really hate this game sometimes.

These events just run way too long, imo. I'd be happy if they tripled the drops and cut the duration down a week. This 1% shit on bonus mobs needs to die, too.

Love how they said there was higher chance on pro and elite. Seeing as I can't carry on elite. I've been spamming pro and have yet to see any. The one time I've seen the rabbits was on adv and only had 2 of 6.

and yeah, this event is tedious, but I can set everything up one round and just hit repeat and not have any trouble

I've seen more doublicorns than rabites so far.

Saw 1 on advance (first one), 2 on Pro (which I run mainly) and none on elite.

I kinda want Randi because of my love of SoM.

Best friend is ready to give up global Exvius and focus on Japanese exvius, which has been much kinder to him. He doesn't give a damn about FF7 and wanted to pull the other person that was on Cloud's banner.

He ended up getting Cloud.

Farming the event is.. ok with me.

Reading the post of people here keeps me grounded in realizing I've been rather spoiled with Rainbows considering I haven't dropped money on this game; have been lucky enough to snag Exdeath, Greg x 2, Dark Fina, and Luneth so.. can't really complain, even with the troll rainbows of CoD and Leo. If I actually buckled down and did TM farming I'm sure my team would be amazing.

On that note, what's the verdict on these characters maxed out:

Chizuru, Gilgamesh, Bartz.

Finishing my first Dual Wield soon, which I'll probably slap on Gilgamesh. But without any other superb materia or TMs, I'm guessing he'll probably break just about 500 attack if I'm lucky, which will put him a bit below Luneth until I finish Excal. . which in itself might be on hold until I finish up a Genji glove.

Gilgamesh : highest potential of the three but as you identified, luneth is better without getting tmr for him.
Chizuru : two of her creates ez and wonderful chains for anyone of real power to take a hold of. But any tmr you would use to improve her would be better on Gilgamesh or Luneth.

Sounds like I should focus on maxing out Gilgamesh #2 after I'm finished with the current one.

If anything finally drives me to set up a TMR farm, it'll be getting weapons for those two. I wasn't strong enough to farm a Shining Splendor back in the day, sadly. Right now I'm working with the following in terms of Swords/Katanas:

Chirijiraden
Vernard
Enhancer
Murasame

If I spam colosseum a bit more, I can snag a Blood Sword and I know the Genji Katana is coming up. . is there any other sword/katana/greatsword coming up from an event?

Chizuru lacks heavily in defense and HP, but with Equip H Shield meteria and some HP pieces she's pretty decent. She's OK for arena, and with DW can pile on some damage in the arena. Bartz is a lost cause.

I just bought my axe. Next up is the 30k moogle.

I went into the bestiary because I was curious. I've encountered 70 Rabites, mostly in packs of 3 or 4, I've only seen one pack of 6.

Compared to 12 Doublicorns.

I've been much luckier this event, and the Rabites are way easier to kill.
