Noctis is missing some toys that others here have. Current cap on noctis I think is ~900atk with all BiS. I'm missing Ramza and some 20% atk materia. I'm hoping I rectify that with the upcoming banner. I suspect that the new +30% won't stack though, so I'm still waiting on greatsword mastery and others to fill out slots.

Tips on beating the Dreadnought ELT?

I've looked at some of the other sites and they suggest an all Mage team. Not sure if mine's strong enough though.

I try rolling with:

Exdeath (370ish mag)
Dark Fina (480ish mag)
Arc (LOL 257 mag)
Cecil
Refia

Best attempt was using Ajax as a friend character. Thinking maybe Arc is the weak link and I should sub him out for someone else, but not sure who.

I did it with:

Exdeath (490 mag)
Dark Fina (516 mag)
Cecil (7824 HP)
Noctis (Mainly for Cover and Thunder Flask; did nothing else really, other than use items and the eventual Comeback)
Luka (almost 500 MP)
Coren's Exdeath (600+ mag)

I used Luka instead of Refia only because of the achievement. Fight took a good 5-10 minutes, and I was never in danger of wiping, although some peeps died a few times. I don't have any TMs except for a Genji Glove (on Noctis), but most of my "a team" is capped on the relevant pots. All my gear came from events and vortex challenges.

I'm guilty of this ONLY because 1.) Exdeath is using Enhancer(4 Letter and Arms) and 2.) Delita is a myth(although I switch Excal out in arena cause P.Cecil/Maxwell exist).

I'm planning on doing 1 11-pull on Shine's banner(while praying Leon gets pulled as well).

I always advocate aiming for a strong 5* base, plus a healer or a tank if you're going to take the time to reroll. In order of strength; Noctis, Gilgamesh, Luneth, or Lightning should be your 5* goal. Since rerolling is the only time you can control your results, and guarantee yourself a good set of units.

With the gatcha change, you'll have an easier time finding those off-banner 4* units to round out your team over time as well.

Olive might shake up the 5* power scale a little bit, she at least seems desirable from her description, but we'll have to see what tomorrows datamine brings up.

First world problem: started macro at 10am today on a 12hr timer. It always breaks, every day; it's really just a matter of how long it runs before that happens. Got home and it was still running (somehow) for the second day in a row. Maint was in 20 min, and I will ding in about 10 fights. Do I try to ding now and waste all of the resulting NRG? Or do I ding in the first 10 fights tomorrow, wasting all the NRG?

Decided to wait, that way I can at least get 5 extra orbs to get a head start on next week's arena I guess.

Also, who is burning their 10+1 the second they log in tomorrow?
