Welcome to the game, grats on the pulls~. You've got a solid team to start with. Make sure not to feel tempted to hard pull much unless you're willing to pay. Lots of free lapis available and you're pretty well set from the current banner. If anything, if you've got the itch, I'd do the 250 daily pull and stop each day. You'll likely want to use some lapis for friend slots (unless you're ok with loading up your Facebook friend's list with FFBE players) so you can get FPs on each mission, and use those for FP units to make gil for your awakenings and lvling.

Speaking of Facebook, make sure to link your account to it. It's the only way to preserve your account should anything happen to your phone outside of doing a manual root backup or somesuch.

I read something about a main character only set of extra missions or something in JP, so they may have a use. I don't actively use any of the main characters, but I typically let them tag along in explorations just to leech a bit of exp to get them to cap. They need 50% of the normal amount of exp to cap and they take less awakening mats too so it's not too big of a deal.

I used cactuars from one of the Mog King events to level Nicole and Lid. Reason being, there's missions coming down the pipe that you can only use story units for, or so I heard.

Currently levelling up Nichol and Jake. The only character I haven't touched yet is Lid because Black Cat Lid took care of all the story related missions XD
I think Nichol looks cool anyway, wish he actually got a decent 6* upgrade or a limited version that can reach 6*.

Not sure I like the sound of basic story unit only missions. I had been working on the type 0 guys again because people have been saying there's going to be a round 2 of that event. Aside from firion I don't have anyone else to level atm.

I corrected my TM macro for the new UI yesterday and so far it's cooked me up approx 12% on my new farm team. I'm running Leon, Cupid Luna x2, and Shine x2.

With two Shine tms I'll have 4 30% attack materia, one from future Gilgamesh trial, Maxwell TM, and two from these Shine. That will be enough for me to fully load-out two dps units, which is enough imo.

I'd advise you to work on getting your Cecil and Cloud of Darkness units leveled up. They're two of the best 3* units that have 6* unlocked. Cecil is a killer tank, and CoD isn't amazing for damage, but she has a ton of utility in Omni-Veil, Protectga and Return.

(I have both in my party, and I've cleared all of the content currently available.)

I've seen nothing but shit from this banner, really. Up to about 60 pulls. ~14 shera, 1 shine. I had 2 of my 10+1 be 10 blues. I haven't seen a single gold in a single-pull yet (all blues there too). Ugh. Hoping the dailies pull me something decent (ie, shine or olive) before the banner changes again.
