I don't know about everyone else but I'm having shitty luck on this round of Enchanted Maze. I usually manage to get decently far on every run but the past few days I've had far too many to count runs where I only get out at the 1st or 2nd rooms. :/

It's more energy/XP efficient, but doing 10 runs in a row with a full bar can take a while. The telewoosh they added adds a few seconds here and there, too.

yes whenever the maze pops up, always spam it(unless you're like me and ignores it for TM farming). You're always guaranteed AT LEAST 1 Gugantuar + other stuff the more you go in(3 max if you took the wrong gate @ the end iirc)

I personally like to save them until I get something big that I don't want to wait a month for; like a TM from a 5* base that's baller or something (Tidus' sword comes to mind immediately for me if I can get lucky pulling Tidus.)

I have been spamming enchanted maze the entire time working on my type 0 units only to be told fuck off by gumi on the old units not getting boost. So now I'm back to working on nichol and Jake in case I might actually need to use them for something. Thanks for the reminder about the steal materia. Maybe I'll even be able to use Locke for this event.

what do you guys recommend for slots on a f2p player? right now I'm at:

- 80 materials
- 100 units
- 50 friends

feels about right. more friends maybe? but I feel like once I get the achievements those friend slots will be mostly useless. last time I played I had more friend points than I knew what to do with, except when the rare cactuar summon event rolled around.

Those will all irritate you eventually. I'm at something like 300 materials and 350 units. Materials aren't as big a deal now that they stack to 199. And it's really only irritating when it stops my TM macro farming.
You'll definitely want more units. I only have 100 friends; I finally got the achievements and I have enough whales to help with harder stuff so I haven't bothered with expanding recently.

Another shantotto for daily. Yeah, fuck this banner. I'm at no tickets, low on lapis (TM farm or bust!). I may wait a week to farm the event, maybe I can get a few units on dailies (lol).

good to know. I think I will wait on expanding friends then, and expand the other two as need dictates.

There are a couple decent Friend Points TMs. Paul has Escape, which is SUPER useful for exploration events. Aqua and Dragon killer, Sunbeam, and it's also the best way to make money (if you need money).

I pulled with a ticket on the type 0 banner and got another Shine lol. That makes 5 now. On another note, I've been able to build up my team a bit thanks to the maze and now this new event. Finally got my Cecil to 6 star and now I have 4 6 star characters and all max level so I'm pretty happy about that. Still f2p for now.

Annnnnd fuck you and your shine. Got a Cinque this morning, at least. But ugh. Ended up doing 5 10+1 to get 2 shines total.

Edit: ran ELT a few times, got some of the cheaper tickets: couple of cinques, an eight, some crap, and another goddamn Shera. Still no gold crystals from single-pulls (daily or tickets) in weeks.

Daily was Shera, did 11 tickets hoping for banner unit and got hot 3* garbage. Worst banner ever.

You can steal from all bosses in ELT for 2 phantoma each.
