Final Fantasy: Brave Exvius (Smartphones)

Hmm.. so right now I've got:

5* Exdeath
4* Vivi, Fran, Rakshasa,
3* Cecil, Rain, Leo, Edgar, Cyan, Penelo

I know Cecil's worth investing to get to 5* (that'll be a LOOONG way off I'm sure), as well as Leo.

Thoughts on the others? I'm mostly just grinding the exp dungeon when I can.

Assuming we get another Metal Cactuar event soon, it won't take too long to get Cecil to 5*, Vivi would be worth leveling later for when you need mages and Edgar/Cyan would be great for leveling for when you need paralyze/poison.

I've found Edgar useful if you can pump up his attack... he has Drill and Chainsaw, both deal unmitigated damage (One to a single target, another to all targets), I've found Chainsaw rather useful. BioBlaster is great too

This is probably entirely due to lack of good characters on my part... I'm leveling Shantotto and vivi as we speak... I have Penelo and for a brief second I thought she could be good, only to find out her Sword Dance is self-target only, so she's terrible. My current team is...

Level 80 Lasswell (My strongest char thanks to the Murasame.. he has 221 Attack, 186 Def)

Level 38 Shantotto

Fran can use Cura, though its not terribly powerful... She's going to be replaced with Story-line Healer probably as I have no good healer from pulls.. and Thats all Fran ever does in harder fights (Cure).

The exp won't be an issue I'm sure with cactuars, but isn't the material farming kind of a pain to go from 3* to 4*, then 4* to 5*?

Used to be back when we had first Isle only, but those materials drop plenty on the second isle in story dungeons and explorations, also you can steal them in addition from Colosseum fights.

Decided to take the chance and reroll today. Wasn't very far in the game anyway so not much was lost.

Came out of it with 5* Bartz, 4* Cloud of Darkness, 4* Vivi, 4* Rydia, 4* Clyne, and 4* Penelo. Figured I'd go with Bartz, CoD, and Vivi along with the two main guys to start with.

I logged in and cleared a zone and when I was rewarded the 100 lapis it was all I had.

I had almost 3k the last time I logged in. Has this happened to anyone else? It would really suck to lose all that Lapis.

I've seen a report here and there from Reddit, nothing many hopped on saying they had happen though. I'd submit a support ticket and at least see what they say. By your post I'm guessing you started with global (still working through missions), any chance you've used emulator macros to automate things? Improperly timed macros for crafting/dungeons can cost you lots of Lapis if you're not careful.

It should carry over from Android -> Androis iOS -> iOS but it wont go Android -> iOS or iOS -> Android. Need to spend all of your Lapis on the old OS. You can download an emulator to spend your shit if you don't have the old phone anymore.

Just started this game, anything I should know? I rolled my 12 rare tickets and got 3 kains, Edgar, exdeath, and shantotto whom stand out. I got a few other 3 stars but they didn't stand out.

I'm really liking the game. The mechanics are wonderful and I love the ff6 style. It's my favorite ff game.

3 kains

Easy newbie mistake to make is to immediately fuse duplicate units. Gungnir isn't a bad TM until we get better rewards and other TMs. May want to consider saving those 3 Kains to TM grind once you're caught up on content. When fusing duplicates, all TM is carried over +5% per fuse. So if you ran all 3 in a group, you could get them to 30% TM each and fuse to cap it.

This really only applies to premium units. FP units you can freely fuse them without grinding since you'll have so many pulls over time. The anything else to know bit I'd just suggest reading the past couple pages here, most need-to-know info or tips have been covered.

Run the 10 stamina vortex map for Sacred crystals. 15's loot pool seems too diluted for that particular purpose. Wanna say you'll probably average 1 crystal every 2 runs. Sometimes you'll get 2 in a run, but that obviously offsets the 0 ones. Got Rain, Lasswell, and Fina up to 4* now, myself. Though I'm admittedly questioning myself on the latter since she's still only got Cure and I did it because I wanted a healer.

She gets Cura later and most importantly of all, she gets Cheer (ATK/DEF+40% whole party for 3 turns, 48 MP) which is a godsend for all major fights and she's the only healer with buffs (which makes her atm the best healer in game), later on we'll get more healers with similar/better buffs.

When does Fina unlock? I've been..with her? I guess? During the story but she's not in my group yet.

Probably gonna drop like.. Rain for her cause he seems eh in comparison to Lasswell for me right now, I dunno.

I have Cecil, Vaan, Rain, Lasswell, Rydia currently. Rydia's only capped at 4* sadly, but her ara magic spells are strong for me right now and she goes to level 60 so not too bad.
