Yshtola looks pretty good but minfilla and thancred seem kinda meh. Wonder what that ifrit raid is gonna be like. Not sure if I'll pull on the people's choice banner seeing as I won't get 5* and I've already got the 3 and 4s already. I'm ready for this type 0 #2 to be over with already.

Minfilla can be pretty good in the Dark Esper Trial.

Anyone remember how long we have to exchange currency with king mog after the event period ends? Haven't used any cactaurs but if by a miracle I get Greg or noctis from players choice I was wondering if I'd be able to exchange em. I'm liking how this raid event sounds.

Is it worth it to macro farm for rank points?

It would be expensive if you set it up to use lapis. Rank farming is something you can knock out pretty quickly before you run out of NRG.

If you are using a macro, does rank even matter? You won't waste NRG if a macro executes every 5 minutes.

If you are using lapis to refill, then absolutely rank matters. If you are <rank60, you don't want to refill at all (you should buy 70NRG for 100lapis instead). So it's plausible that somebody may want to spend lapis on NRG to rank up faster. I get 114NRG per 100lapis now (and others here are higher still). It's much more economical to TM farm when you get 2x as much NRG each time.

Someone posted a strat for ELT Ifrit and it does make sense:

So you need a weak unit with Bushido-Freedom (Gilgamesh no items reward).

1. It seems like Ifrit would lower your whole team with Fire Resist.
2. Bushido would remove the debuff and then Barfira would buff your fire resistance.
3. You need a Breaker to lower his ATK and MAG.

He doesnt hit too hard if you do those things.

Well, I got 2-rounded using Barfira first turn. 2nd turn I had no control since he'd paralyzed 3 of my people, anyway, with the others dead from r1.

ELT roflstomped me as well. I survived 5 or 6 rounds, but I never did hurt him. It was all vain recovery attempts.

You can hit all the metal conditions of ELT, and flee the same round to get the lapis. I just did it since I don't think I'll beat the fucker.

2nd real attempt got him to 50%. Then I got 1tko and I don't know what happened. Magic break, barfira, and focus were up but it didn't matter

Finally got ELT down; Ling is basically MVP. If you don't have her, honestly I don't know what to tell you because she can do so much in this fight.

This is a whale fight. Even with Ling I have no clue how this thing is even fair on ELT.

Edit: Apparently not only was Ifrit ELT buffed compared to JP.... they also nerfed the rewards lol. Fuck off Gumi. I'm spamming PRO.

Confirmed changes compared to JP are:
-cannot Osmose his MP away to stop the fire debuff move;
-Break resist.

Wish they would test this shit tbh. JP also had 6* Tilith and WoL, Orlandu and Tidus.

Great, these mini moogles are until specific trust boosts not whatever you want to use them on. Got two from multi pull and got letters and arms which I knew I had but the other is for thancred who I don't have yet. Does the achievement tab not work for anyone else? Also did everyone get the freebie 750 lapis this morning. If so what is it for?

Thancred is a freebie anyway (just like every single XIV unit). You'll also get more Thancreds than you'll ever need from the raid banner.
