dunes is about normal for me. average 3ish gigantuars per run, sometimes up to 6.

I was getting more than 3 on average last time... at least 5-6 per run. I guess I got extremely lucky but I farmed for three days.

There was the original, with the average at ~45k (guaranteed 1 gigantaur, possibly up to 2 more), and the buffed rate that gives up to 6. The average doubled, from what I understand. If you were getting 5 or 6 *every* run you just got lucky I think. You say "at least 5 to 6 per run"... did you get *more* than 6 in any run? That would indeed seem to be an increase.

Finally crossed 1.2mil, and finally got another seed of illusions (for y'sh's budding wand). And then another, on the next pull. Fucking RNG. I'm mainly running pro because I can't reliably do ELT with scrub friend units (macroing kills all my good friend units).

What all are you OP guys getting from mog king?
White staff and battle hoop appear useless altogether unless you still use cod for some reason.
Durandal is good, unless you have a bunch of excals.
Kiyomori is in same boat as durandal (albeit WAY too expensive IMO); once you have chiri, a bunch of sakura, and a genji, is it useful?
I got crush helm even though I don't have Cid, though I suspect I won't be using it much (ever?) unless they allow you to merge it in as a standard skill; doesn't seem useful enough to lose a +30% materia.
I did buy 4 poach because why not.
I also got first strike (questionable decision).
The remaining materia are garbage (lifefont, healing waltz, hp/mag+).

The remaining stuff is all generic, but I'm curious where everybody stands.
I get cactuars when I need them (haven't had anybody to lvl in the last 3 months, really, aside from olive).
I stopped getting screamroot and alcryst as I have a million unused keys
I stopped getting star quarts as I have 400+ of them and nothing useful to buy
Magacites are a great deal, but I have enough left to max at least 1 more esper
I have a ton of all awakening mats, but again, I haven't had worthwhile units to level.
Of course tickets.
1% moogles are beyond useless.
10% moogle if I have extra
Any remaining I'll throw at random shit (elixirs, y-pots, remedy, etc)

For people still doing Ifrit, do you need me to put up Firion for a carry? I have Lawrence up now, but it seems like everyone has Orlandu set as a friend unit so Lawrence is useless.

I'm up to 1.5 mil points, and run PRO. Didn't have much luck in ELT (more on this later), but I still want to try it one more time once I figure out what I need to do to git gud (aside from loads of TMRs, which I don't farm (yet)).

I think you should get the Kiyomori. It has 10% evasion which is unique for a weapon. Other than that I agree with you.

I'm saving the cactuars until tomorrow. Reddit is anticipating WoL to 6* and I'll use them there if they're right.

Is there a difference between evade and negate physical damage? There's two descriptions of Kiyomori out there.

Would say to get the megacrysts for the eventual 3*'ing of espers. But yeah, I've been mulling over what to buy once I finished tickets and cactaurs.

maxed WoL, got Embolden with Refia. it's insane how much of a difference buffs/debuffs make. Now I can do PRO Ifrit every time, should speed up farming considerably.

I usually buy the Sacred Crystals because energy wise it is more efficient than farming awakening Vortex for them. Star Quartz I buy if I have a decent bonus rate for the event and there is an Auto-Refresh materia coming up which costs 200 quartz. Not sure how much you wanted to stockpile. Kiyomori is unique like Starby said, so I planned to buy that too. Otherwise just tickets, cactuars and Crush Helm if I ever pull Orlandeau.

I'm on the fence about Durandal because I have two Excals and 4 Cecils waiting to combine for a quick third. I was thinking of just having it to put on Cecil or WoL for chaining if I ever needed.

I would get Crush Helm regardless in case you pull him in the future. I don't know if these come back any time soon or ever.

Where have all the chocobo gone?.Haven't seen any in about 2 and half days now. Thankfully I managed to get a 2nd bonus unit so I'm getting at least 100%.
