what are people doing for paralyze resist? it's a moot point for me right now because I'm stopping at Y'shtola, but for future reference I feel like this would be useful information.


and I bet you could do 140k in two days on PRO. I average about 100k per day. although I am low rank so I rank up quickly.

I just ignore paralyse. I esuna if It lands and if it hits more than one I use return from cod. I'm rank 82 atm and just hit it so a long way off from freebie refil.

For paralyze I use:

Jeweled Ring x2 (One is from a quest, one is from the Chinese New Year event)
Ribbon (Kefka's TM)
Refia is immune
Ling is immune

Yun is also immune naturally. Also, what do you guys do when you take an orlandu through ELT and he doesn't have Diabolos equipped and it also using Excal? It's caused me to lose on red chocobo runs cause he can't oneshot the first boss or AoE the red chocobos and all my bonus units are dead and by the final boss.

Have got a team that I think is at least reasonably well equipped to fuck with Gilgamesh.


Gilgamesh - Fire/Water/Wind (Flamebrand, Trident, Wind Slash)
Friend Noctis - Thunder/Light (Thunder Flask, Excalibur or Durandal)
Ling - MAG/ATK break and MP recovery
Cecil - Hopefully eat most of the Zantetsukens and Bushidos, backup healing, Sacred Guard
Refia - Heals, Full Life, ATK/DEF buff, Dispel
Don't know what to do with final slot. Chizuru for extra damage/backup an element, Exdeath, whoever else. Thoughts?


Skipping Earth cause it doesn't particularly bother me, especially since Cecil will be resisting it anyway and probably be eating it most of the time. Can populate that 6th slot with Minfillia and have her toss up Earth resist too if need be but at that point why not just bring Rain to lock out earth and provide some extra elemental coverage in case Greg/Noctis get toasted. Only have one Dual Wield so not much variety in who I can give extra elements to.

Hmm so Fairy Ring might be good for me to grab. Mostly I just Esuna/Unicorn Horn my way through and it hasn't caused me much trouble. It's annoying tho. At least I have Refia.


Got Y'shtola, fuck this event. Ifrit is a dick and I'm done with him. I feel like having a raid on top of normal event on top of colosseum is just too much time for me to spend on this game.


Almost got Kiyomori, too...! Today has been a very good day for me.

I'm trying to push for that 1.6 mil moogle. I'm 250k away. I've had a hell of a time reliably beating ELT. Even with a 1k+ atk olive, I only kill Ifrit ~75% of the time.

I'm running Cecil, Ling, Refia, Greg, and Noctis. All have at least 50% fire resist and paralyze immune. I keep up barfire. And some % of the time he'll just assrape most of my team. Am I missing something?

I need to get at least 1k points per orb for the next 2 days and I'd prefer not to waste lapis in refills.

Kinda need all your units like 4500hp+ to survive some of the attacks and you can still get screwed over if he does multiple radiant plumes in a round. Important thing is always keep up attk/mag down and hope for some luck.

Personally elite was just too much of a hassle to clear when I could just simply one shot pros. Even if a personn does not have the greatest dps units for pro, as long as can land paralyze he is a chump.

Almost exactly where I'm at too; I don't think I'm going to have any problem getting that last stretch.

Did some maths to see if I can get to moogle. If we can keep him at his current level which I'm not sure we can it will take me just under 4 refills to hit the 1.6mil. Depending on how close I get I might just refill.

5k a run (currently) and there are about 30 hours left, so 150k. If you zero-out before sleep, eight hours means you only lose three orbs, so 135k. You should be fine.

Swapped bushido freedom to cecil, removed his weapon. It makes it much more reliable to beat ELT... but it's a still giant pain in the ass. Still, for that sexy 10% moogle, for no additional cost (just a little headache), let's do this!

Also, first world problem: ran into a bunch of red chocos, realized I brought my ifrit clear team with no bonus characters except the orlandu I was dragging with me. So my 1500 tokens turned into 3k instead of 7500.

My set up uses Exdeath going Dual Thundaga's with Orlandu (assuming max level+dw) using Lightning Blade. Have a unit throw out an imperil and another doing a Mag boost (the dancer chick's works great here) and it's enough to oneshot most of the bosses on Elite without being too MP intensive. That said, I also have Ling throwing out Dance of Death every round as a back up, but generally I can set my group on the first round and just hit repeat through the entire fight.

I'm currently sitting at just under 1.4 mil points for the Ifrit even so even at max Orb usage (which I'm unable to do) I'm still going to come up 80k-ish short for the damn Moogle. Even using Refills won't be enough to reach it for me at this point. Though that's assuming I'm running Pro...I may have to try Elt if it really gives more points, though I haven't been able to survive more then 2 rounds in that fight.

It kinda sucks because I got a Gilgamesh at like 86% and I could really use a second DW.

I have done this, but never with chocos... Yikes.

My Player ID is 160,434,057. I'm not going to get much out of these two events, probably, but adding some friends will help me squeeze out a few more red orbs.

Also with the weekend coming up, should I focus on using all my NRG on getting metaltaurs?
