I got majority of mine from the awakening dungeon. Those plus sacred crystals are a pain to get. I mostly did the 10 energy one long ago. But they can drop in the 15 and 20 one as well but those might be too energy intensive for your level.

Finished with event, but considering I have a good set of bonus units, I'll keep spamming to sell orbs. Can get about 4,230 gil/nrg on a chocoless run.

The NRG is a good point, but as far as the gil goes, much rather TM farm w/ the NRG than continue the event after I've bought everything I intended to buy. Shit, I get so many mats TM farming and selling them that I haven't had to worry about gil since I first started the game

Interesting - so should I try and awaken my guys or keep doing the story missions and rank up for more NRG? I'm about to wrap up the third island.

I'd say do story if you haven't. Lots of NRG, and LOTS of Lapis.

Sacred Crystals are the only real bottle neck imo. I find myself with extra Holy crystals all the time just from doing story and explorations.

Oh wow, once I finish up these round of TMs, I'm pretty set in terms of using lapis to grind them out faster. The rest I'm interested in are all minor upgrades, so I'll just take my time w/ them and they'll finish whenever they finish. I think the only one I want to grind out quickly is Shine's TM, since I just drew her this morning; but can go back to hoarding trust moogles again until my next really great TM comes along

TM farming generally gives 1-3 star common mats. Even if they were needed for enhancements, it's a non issue. I usually have to clear my inventory every other day (after clearing 40+ slots of the improved mats stacking (they used to stack to 99, now 199)) because I'm always hitting cap
