That's a probability calculator. Using 5k lapis as a free to play player is often a bad move. It's typically better to use daily pulls and tickets for desirable 4*s.

But, considering that you lack a fully rounded roster, the 5k pull may be better for you, even if you don't get Orlandu.

Spent 12k orbs on the 6k tickets, which I never do.

Pull #1 gets me Lawrence.

Pull #2 gets me a rainbow off the bat.

Last time that happened I got trolled by Dark Fina #2. Mutual friend of me and Zealot had said "This is what you get for not waiting for me to respond" (because I messaged him saying "Rainbow. I'm getting trolled aren't I?")

So I just sit there with the rainbow and wait until he gets back.

I've done one other 5k pull and spent about 15 tickets this event, not a single rainbow to be seen. I guess I'll wait.

If all you have saved up is 5k I wouldn't. When I did my 11 pull I had a reserve of 2500 lapis. Dailies can be nice and I like to pull them. Like today, event ends tomorrow iirc and today I pull a soliel.

Not by itself it isn't. Enhanced Fin Briar is 230% with 50% ignore (230 * 2 = 460% total potency).

Unenhanced True Shot is 240% with 50% ignore (240 * 2 = 480% total potency).

Enhanced Divider is 200% with 65% ignore (200 * 2.85 = 570%~ total potency).

Enhanced Cut Through (with Advance used the turn prior) is 525% with 50% ignore (525 * 2 = 1050% total potency).




Firion's strength is in his weapon passives and aforementioned killer effects though. He has the advantage of being able to stack that extra killer on top of the ones that other units can get which pushes his ST damage up on most enemies. Not actually sure how he will compare to other combo finishers post-enhancement but he probably remains near the top. Almost positive that Luneth beats him once he gets Enhancements. Olive, pending enhancements, is probably going to shit all over everyone.

Wouldn't it be safe to assume that Firion has 100% killer active, so more than 460%?

It's more difficult to calculate that because killer effects aren't a multiplier of the... multiplier. They're a multiplier of total damage, so other factors would also need to be taken into account. His total damage will be higher than that of a 460% multiplier attack though, yeah, was more showing that Fin Briar itself isn't the highest mult/def ignore : p



edit: welp. the new 5* base is effectively an ice based Orlandu (has the same frames and # of hits, -50% ice, etc) but she has less equipment variety and attack bonuses. potentially really really strong though. The 4* base thief is looking exceptional too, can definitely find a place for him in fights like Gilgamesh and for farming (he has 100% steal, master thief (different from Locke's), a 2 turn 100% taunt, 100% poison, various other cool stuff). Aiden is shit.

She's a weaker Orlandeau due to not being able to use DW but I'm pretty sure she'll get ability awakenings next week, most likely to her passive ATK/MAG boost among other things.
The Thief seems gimmicky so he's either useless or OP depending on the fight (being able to steal enemy buffs sounds broken unless there's a limitation we're missing). He's also a fusion of Zidane and Locke , most likely making the whole farming process MUCH easier to deal with.

Not too hot unless there's a hidden effect. It's actually used to craft other stuff.

Edit: We can only craft one knife and one Cold Snap, for now at least. They require eggs sold by Xon and he only sells one of each apparently.

Both. Have you been to the city in the Vortex? I think that's required to unlock egg drops.

Power on Power (D. Fina and Earth Veritas fight) gives a ton of eggs. I've already gotten 5 trust moogles for Fryevia's Needle lol. I havent even gone to spend the rainbow eggs yet, but I've probably gotten around 25 so far.

In order to craft and buy everything you'll need: 1800 blue eggs, 2040 red eggs, 192 rainbows.

Yeah, the crafting part seems super grindy, but you get megacites, snappers, event trust moogles and metal gigantuars from summoning as well.

SOB! Thought T.G. Cid event ended tomorrow since all events HAVE ended on a FRI and not a THR and I ended up being 300 measly points away from being able to buy the holy GS when I have no major weapons beyond First Trial GKT, FML! Guess i'll have to throw it on mats that I don't need then in case I get anyone important down the road

That sucks. I bought it with no intention to use it until it's worthwhile to use it for chaining with Excal. I pretty much ran out of stuff to buy and just farmed for gil.

For anyone who is macro farming for this event, does the Fire Shrine macro on reddit for Nox get stuck for anyone else? It says it does everything but from watching it doesn't even get past the menus to enter the area without me having to manually do it, and that's without the macro getting stuck in a corner trying to get gather points.
