That was in the instance of someone's 3x Kains. The idea with getting a good TM on a premium unit is if you have multiple of them, you keep them and spam 1 energy dungeons with them together. When fusing like units, you get +5% + whatever TM the unit has. So for the 3x Kains, it was 30% x3 + 5% twice since you'd fuse twice, to get the 100%. If you had 2, you'd aim for 47-48% each then fuse, 4 would be 21-22%.

For FP units, there's no need to worry; combine them at your leisure for the TM bonuses since you'll be pulling so many. The main premium units you'll want to look for during your rerolling will be CoD, Bartz, Exdeath, Cecil, and Vaan. Others can be good too like Garland (solid physical DPS), Zidane (TM), Luna (TM), Vivi/Shantatto (both solid nukers with Shantatto also having a good TM).

How does xp work in this game, re: xp per units don't match what the zones give.
If I run intermediate xp vortex, I get 15k xp. My units don't get 15k. Is it split 5 ways? Do the higher-level units get more, and the lower ones less?

I did roll Leo once; I should have kept that account :/ after learning what I have about this game I don't really care if I get a *good* character, I just want a couple of my favorites.

If you're trying to focus on a single unit, you can take just them plus a strong friend unit to solo the run. Whether your unit dies or not, it'll still receive the full exp. There's also a Metal Cactuar event that will roll around soon, likely within the next 2-3 weeks I'd imagine. ADV stage of it is 15 energy with a guaranteed 30k unit drop. Can also get multiple drops per run scaling between 30k, 40k, 50k, 60k, 70k, or 90k total exp for the run. The exp doesn't come from the run itself, each time you kill a metal cactuar, you get it as a unit drop that you fuse to units.

Man, Graviga is so hax in trash fights lol. Been doing ADV EXP trial and have not seen it get resisted once. I start each fight by removing 75% of everyone's HP. A couple of weak AoE spells later everything is dead, lol. Makes leeching EXP for a couple of low level single target characters easy as hell since I can still 1-shot everything with only 2-3 characters lol.

I'm trying to max lvl my current 3* chars so I can at least get them to 4*. Getting CoD to cap at 4* seems a ways off, but my 3* are all low 30's, so getting them to 40 shouldn't be too bad.

Went to overwrite the existing FB save data with my new 4star shantotto/Fran account and it reloaded the crap rolls I had. lost them both... wtf did I do.

Once you register to facebook, it's permanent. If you do the guest-reroll thing, you can't register it back to facebook from what I understand.

gotta create a second fake facebook account. or just keep it as a guest. that's what I'm doing. and if you ever accidentally login (which is hard to do because it doesn't save your password/username) then you'd wipe your guest account again


as for your lost rolls, they are indeed gone forever.

Correct, you have to make a dummy FB account and link it to that if you want to reroll and keep the reroll.

Finished Lanzelt Ruins this morning and fetched everything in its exploration mode. Aside from finishing what quests I can, there anything specific to strive for aside from powering up units? Like, I've seen Hero Rings mentioned, but haven't even found the recipe for them yet. Gonna assume that's finding all the vault keys, which I still have a few left.

Grinding Rank, Grinding Espers to 2* (Ifrit/Golem only real worthwhile Espers to do that), leveling units to max, completing all trophies, completing all of the colosseum are basically it atm.
