I have no idea what's going on with this event. I'm just stealing from every enemy and completing my story quests and then rolling for eggs. I think I'm supposed to craft them into something or whatever? IDK, seems like more of a headache than it needs to be.

Need to use the rainbow eggs to get crafting recipes from xon in the exploration map that is 0 energy. Then use the red, blue and rainbow to craft the items. They added heavy crysts to the egg summons so you can start collecting those for ability upgrades.

I got the knife, made a couple spare Crowns and a Staff as well. Thinking about that Cold Snap but I don't know if I have anyone who can use it.

I really want to 5* Refia but I just can't get brilliant rays to drop. Kinda in a holding pattern with units until then since I'm saving my awakening mats for when I finally get her up.

hopefully next event will have 5* mats. two events ago they did, then FFT event they didn't. which sucked because I don't have a better healer in the meantime so I had to awaken Refia using the vortex :/

In the same boat with Minfilia. I need her for the new trial but she needs a lot of Brilliant Rays to go from 4* to 5*.

Try to make the Icy VeinsX10 since +18ATK/MAG is pretty strong. At the very least, make the MAGX10 & RADX10 eggs for 10%MAG/SPR & 10%ATK/DEF that are kinda like Hero's Rings (they are 10%ATK/MAG, but Icy Veins may be stronger). With yesterday's NRG+what Gumi gave, I had 250k+ of metal eggs. If nothing else, great for gil and cactuars. The staff is minor since we can get two Gold Staves (48 SPR). This event is also great for the alchemist trophies. X10 may be overkill, but XI has ruined me for life (situational gear).

The nice thing about wrath staff is that it has 20 defense on it as well.

OH! In the crafting area, Filter -> Descend will make it so the stuff you want for the event is at the top.

Any JP players got a recommendation on cryst purchase order based on experience of most used/hardest to get? At 100 rainbows per, they are kind of expensive, I doubt I will get them all before event ends, especially if I want to make some duplicate gears.

Eh, it seems to have the stupid defense/damage reduction mechanic, resists at least light element (qq Excalibur), and starts triple attacking her silence AoE that outpaces single Curaja use. Basically, in the two attempts I've tried, someone's died, meaning no ticket. :/

tl;dr
Orlandeaus with 850+ attk with Ifrit Esper, + Bird killer(crafted), Excal, Ling or w/e unit can do -45%+ def and a dispeler with dual cast
Turn 1: Dispel both-> Ling's Feint Step-> Orlandeau's Divine Ruination chained right on Ifrit.
Turn 2: Repeat above

I'm assuming no ability means I can use magic... as no macic means I can use abilities...? I wonder if I could slowly Mage burn that fight, her damage isn't very high. I'd just need some silence resist stuff.

And also curious if her songs count as magic or ability. Arianna that is.
