Just make sure none of your equipped weapons have elements on them if you're going physical. If you go Magic there's a lot of mages with thundaga.

Also I complete it with no ability. Dualcast does not count as an ability and I never tested songs.

Lightning with thunder spear for elemental chaining normal attacks.
Refia for healing
Yshtola with white cape for Shellga/Protectga/healing
Arianna cause she's a strong BLM with her own gear. ~460 magic
Exdeath cause he's my strongest Mage ~ 480 magic
Dark Fina friend with 600+ magic.

Slow and steady win. Had some people die later on but never a healer and easily recoverable. I'd recommend not using anyone who can counter attack with abilities, like Dark Fina(oops) as if they do accidentally counter, that'll screw you. Mine ever did thank god.

Overall took about 10 minutes... but as long as you have silence immunity on everyone and keep protect and shell up you'll be fine.

Edit: this moogles also finished Ring of the Lucii for me. Dualcast Alterna with Yshtola on clerics stance tastes sooo good.

What do you have? Yshtola was really recent and Exdeath is a 3*. Idk how new you are :/

Never got Y'shtola from the Ifrit event. I have Exdeath but I'm stuck on awakening units. Same with Refia and Cecil, so no Curaja either.

Mmmm yah you're just not at a level to do the hardest dungeons yet sorry . Work on awakening those guys and if you haven't already you can use a real strong carry friend to get you through some of the early trials for those weapons. (enhancer, wizards rod)

Good things about this guide:
Pretty common units/gear/TMs.
Olive friend could easily be a replica of Chiz/Firion.
It is still a bit RNG since below 50% can get a little nuts, if unlucky.

And I just need to mention how much I love this egg event. 25/25 SO MANY LBs, up to 5M gil made, ranked up four times so far, running bears with TM team, and capped some super useful characters with EXP.

Edit: All goals in one run. Auto+Twin Lance+Aurora Scarf on Firion with Diab and PLD Cecil 25/25 LB made this cake.

Zealot, I set my Lightning up for you with Non-Elemental weapons. She should(I didn't test it myself) be able to solo the fight if you just want the clear. Sadly, you'll have to use Lance to heal up, which is an ability.

I'm wondering if dual radiant eggs for each of my four physical units is a better idea than going for the DW knife? I'm not even sure I can make the DW knife (haven't been playing a lot lately) and +20% atk/def (if it stacks?) per character seems insanely good for how easy the eggs are to make. thoughts?


I do have Greg + Zidane + Light so that's three DW, but of course two of those are wayyyyy down the line.

Make the knife. Hero Rings are always there with Hyper Wrists being a decent stand-in.

Knife is doubling your attacks. Two attacks is far greater than 20% ATK gain. As for Dangerous, ignore the no ability thing and get the clear and farm the items to break her caps.

Edit: On the flipside, I can make Y'sh my unit and you can roll a Pro/Shell/Double healer and you just have to worry about surviving and doing auto attacks.

oops I didn't notice the event goes until 4/27 lol. yeah I guess I'll make the knife. I should still be able to make the eggs too. and the equipment looks decent too, some of it anyway. the hat in particular.

I already have the Enhancer, Murasame, etc etc. I can't 5* Refia without brilliant rays and they just haven't dropped for me. Healing is the only thing holding me back right now. I'm friends with an Olive that could probably solo this eventually if I could keep everyone up but no Curaja = just not happening.

5% moogle is p easy to get (and worth it for 20 stam), but you most likely need to do it in a separate run because people will probably die. If you opt to not use many mages, then do what I did: A strong Olive friend spamming LBs will make pretty quick work of it; pop Cecil's LB when its up, auto-attack with other characters, heal with your healer.

That final stage is a son of a bitch. Taking it nice and slow going all mage team, get her under 50% then she hits me with dissonance x3 and drops 2 ppl and I can't recover. Think I'm gonna get my 2nd exdeath to 100 because I've only got 1 good exdeath and after that my mages fall off. Didn't help my helper caster didn't have any silence protection.
