So far have tried Kefka 2x (just to fuck around and see how it goes) and even with full buffs, he still eventually one shots someone each turn, think i'm gonna also wait till tail end of event to try the fight for real.

It's brutal. I really want that robe but I don't think I can do it :/ I don't have enough mitigation. If I had raised up Y'sh, I might stand a chance, but right now my only real buffers are Trance Terra and Refia. or if my Celes was leveled, I might be able to pull it off using Full Break, but she's not.

Hope there's some error in her skills though because she looks like trash... like the worst 5* ever. Unless these hybrid things make her do ridiculous damage (even with a 2000% multiplier), but I kind of doubt it...

Lulu looks like a really good black mage though... since she can do dual cast Flood (12 hits) and she could chain really well with another Lulu I'd assume. She also synergizes really well with Tidus.

I'm fairly sure those hybrid skills will be good, likely MAG/SPR considering she's a healer/summoner so those are easily boostable on her.

There was an Esper update not too long ago and we got it in Global as well (I think it's the same?). Summoners are good enough.

I could see 2 uses for Yuna:

A) Bahamut finisher/builder since she can build Esper gauge with an ability
B) Pair her up with another Esper bar builder like Garnet or Eiko and have her use her 2000% mult attack as often as possible. Her Hybrid damage is calculated differently from previous types somehow, perhaps it uses some of the Esper's stats in its calculation, which would make it devastating.

Relatively certain that just using Bahamut over and over with her would be the best way for her to deal damage though. She doesn't do much to differentiate herself from other summoners.

Yeah getting to the end of the story does open up titan. Talk to the same guy again and his text has changed. Just kinda bummed I had to get through the story to unlock it. Enjoying the story very much.


Lol just tried it and got wrecked. Figured one star would be easy to kill it. Imperil and x3 aeroga took like 2% of his hp and I got smashed by 6k Gaia fury. And that ended that run.

Nah, I'd say this game has an issue with events running too long and not being the best with difficulty transitions. Yeah, some of it's you being on the newer side, but I've never been a fan of temporary content getting the "ONLY DAH BESS!" treatment, either.

I'd say using the Esper gauge for other purposes is different enough no? Neither Eiko nor Garnet can do that iirc but Eiko is a better healer/support. Yuna is obviously built on actual summoning as her main role so we just need to see what this hybrid damage deal is all about.

Finally, I just finished another batch of TMR. I have roughly 16 TMR so far:

I also got 2 Aiden TMR, 1 Y'sholta, couple Thancreds and Millifina. It is time for me to grind HP+ materia.

Titan wasn't too bad, fortunately. And he's got nice ATK bonus. Still need to go do Kefka though.
