So as this event draws to a close, I've got just about 25000 fish left. I've got all the cheap 6* mats, all the Screamroot and Alcrysts, Star Quartz, Summoning Tickets, and the 10% Moogle. I haven't bothered with anything else. Is there any of the equipment or Materia I should get now? This MP 10%/MAG/SPR 5% one doesn't look like a bad idea.

Nah that dragon is an asshole. Removes all debuffs everytime and heals for 50k and does like 3k per move. Off to cactaur farming I go. Need to work on Marie, cerius doesn't cut it anymore.

Dragon wrecked me hard, I gotta grind that resistance gear so hard. For the event I'll be throwing up my Yun as decked as possible. Just make sure you mention BG on request or I'll just delete dem bones.

according to reddit a decked out Noctis can solo this event - I'm gonna try that. but not until later because cactuars lol. I have a few energy refills (100) saved up and tons of units to level so I'm going hard this weekend.

Haven't tried dragon yet, but I'm confident I can do this with the tools I have sitting around in inventory. Will probably try the first one with full party, then move on to 4 peeps attempt.

553 ATK Olive with Ifrit equipped is my roaming atm, not 100% sure if she'll be of use but its the best unit I got.

Also holy crap, made it to within the 30k-90k ranking for the first time ever in monthly ranking and got my first ever 10% moogle! Yay! Now I have a 38% Gilgamesh.

Noctis @ a gimptastic 732 atk with one dragon killer (could stack 3 Poach if the math makes it better). < 10% away from Brave Suit.

Should probably look into Dark Esper Trial for the GSword Mastery.

My Skaha is at 90% but her rate is soooooo bad. Watched a YouTube video the other day and if you haven't been collecting the keys to turn into the vault you should be. The Aurora key completion reward is a 103dmg great sword for free. Pretty sweet for f2p. We probably have a ways to go before the other areas open to finish it so you could get started now if you haven't.


Finally found out what the gold ore is for. Golden breastplate and golden armor. You'd think I would have put 2 and 2 together but it until I unlocked the recipes I didn't.
