If you have resist gear, the dragon is a breeze. I did the 4 man with

Pecil (100% fire resist)
Refia (50%ish fire)
Minfillia (50%ish fire)
Friend Noctis with 50% fire

Use Minfillia to keep her barfire up, then buff Noctis with attack boost. Dead dragon in 10-15 rounds. The only damage I took was from the dragon's threshold attack (Strong physical attack, it actually 1-shot Pecil from full)

I like Noctis better than Orlandu for this because of Fire Flask on the soldiers and blizzard flask on the plant(Stop works, fight was a breeze)

I was on my way to doing it with Cecil/Refia/Sakura/Olive friend. Sakura with Defensive Barrier + Barfira and the dragon could barely break 400 dmg.

However I stupidly didn't give Sakura a confuse resist. It was at 10% when my buffs dropped and down I went. But now that I know I can do it I'll give it another go tomorrow.

In other news, got a TM farming script working and this thing is great.

I did it with the 6 man set up, 15% MP doesn't entice me to bother 4 man.

TGCid(Mine-710+ Attack, Friends at 900+ Attack) were doing work on the HP, but every time they'd attack they'd take him down by like 25~30% and force some insane like, 6 attack fire death round, someone would always die because between the weak ass fire hits he'd do some AoE or single target (Didnt ever see) that was Physical that really hurt. never really came close to wiping but it was annoying having to raise so often lol.

Had to do this twice cause first run I was wholely unprepared. but once I brought the right team it was NP

Hmm might have to gear my guys for fire resist and try again. Was only using cerius and barfiraga. Minfilla a better option? I'll have to check wiki for fire resist gear.


Tm farming is nice but I feel like it's like watching water boil cause when I check it from time time it never moves.

Minfillia's buff is the same strength as barfiraga. She also has an AoE 100% confuse resist skill, and single target 100% atk buff. All last 3 rounds. So you can set up a nice rotation

If you don't use ice/water physical, he heals for 50k and wipes debuffs. Also, ice/water disables screech (confuse). Otherwise, normal buffs should mitigate the rest (but RNG gonna RNG). I'm not sure if it's like Gilg where doing ice/water seals, or if you should ONLY use ice/water.

Using a 4 man party my first attempt... I got him down to about 1% and wiped. If only my Fryevia was a little stronger. It was so close it hurt.

Finished my second dual wield sometime this morning. Was kind of surprised it didn't stop my macro from running. Onto my first dual cast. Probably should have been running one from the start but I wanna get miyuki's done.

Snagged an ulrica but promptly sold it cause her tm kinda sucks and my to do list is kind of large already.
